“THIS is the place to stay when staying near Saint Jean De Luz. We actually decided to book here last-minute after our other hotel (highly rated, btw) was lackluster and we wanted to keep the good vacation vibes going. This is a renovated estate with the original building dating from the 1600s. We stayed in the smallest room, but even this was super well appointed and comfortable for two people. The pool area is amazing, and it's so nice to have a Michelin-rated restaurant as part of the auberge.……

Todos los servicios tienen un coste extra, nada incluido, ni el agua ( 3 euros ). Buenas situación para moverte en coche por todos los pueblos de la zona.”

“The hotel has been created out of an old school and it’s lovely to see it given a new life. We liked having breakfast in the garden (which used to be the playground) and having a walk down to the fantastic beaches and cafes of Guethary. We had a room on the second floor and it was very spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was also big and very clean- but I prefer a separate shower. The breakfast was lovely quality and very relaxed, we liked the long tables to share with……

“C est la vie de château, à tous de points de vue. Un parc arboré fabuleux, le château a un charme fou, de la piscine une superbe vue sur les Pyrénées , les membres du personnel sont charmants et attentionnés. Nous espérons revenir au château Clair de Lune 🌙 .”

“The location is amazing and the staff incredibly helpful, my only comment is the amount of dust in the room, had allergies every night trying to sleep, the fact that the a/c is not working should be told ahead of the stay and there should be urgent care taken care of the black mold on the shower walls”

“Hôtel très bien situé et c’est son point fort. Un peu vieillot mais ça fait son charme. Par contre la personne à l’accueil n’y est quasiment jamais. Il délégue tout à sa femme de ménage même l’encaissement d’une facture de séjour…!! Nous aurions pu quitter notre chambre sans payer… Difficile à accepter vu le prix et le peu de chambres finalement. Voilà comment ce qui pourrait être une pépite se transforme en gâchis par le manque de professionnalisme d’une personne censée y travailler. Même en……

“The only reason I stayed was because I had a 6:45am flight to catch and the hotel is a 5 minute walk to Biarritz airport. It is a motel next to the highway and their electronics door keys did not work for me and another customer who checked in. Minimal amenities and a bit noisy as next to the highway. Room is small and bed not too comfortable. Asked for 5am morning call they said ok but ended up no one called. The only thing I like was the dinner at their restaurant which was surprisingly……
