The cottage is large (140 m2) and comfortable, ideal for family stays. A large living room of 55m2; 3 bedrooms and an alcove, all can accommodate 7 people in perfect comfort.

Host is friendly but property wasn't exactly what we expected

The property is situated in a beautiful valley and the host provided guidance for things to see and do around. The gite is specious downstairs and the kids (and dog!) absolutely loved playing with the donkeys and the turtles. We were offered to purchase a home-cooked meal which was generous and tasty. The hosts were very friendly and patient with the kids and dog and allowed them to feed the animals. Our kids and dog really enjoyed their stay here! However the property wasn't quite what we expected. Firstly there is a road in between the gite and the pool/garden, whilst it is a quiet road, it was a bit nerve racking with the kids and the dog as the garden isn't enclosed and some cars pass by (even though slowly). The pool is an adequate size but it is freezing and the edge to it is really narrow, so it felt that it was likely that the kids could step out and fall backwards onto the ground. We brought our own bedding as they were charged at 13euros each for disposable bedding, and whilst we were told towels were provided free of charge and changed after a week (which didn't happen) we still had to request them on arrival. On departure, we were asked for 50 euros as a cleaning fee which came to us as a surprise, but Vbro confirmed we didn't have to pay this fee as it was never specified beforehand by the host. Also, mosquitos were ravenous (nobody's fault) but I recommend to bring lots of insect repellent and in hot weather the rooms upstairs are very hot.

Gite très appeciable

Gite tout a fais dans nos attentes! Nous étions avec nos 4 enfants durant cette semaine et les activités non pas manquer à la fois pour les adultes comme pour les enfants. Nombreuses activités au sein du gite très appreciables baby foot, badminton,foot,tennis de table,piscine etc....Nous étions ravis! Nous avons pu faire connaissance de Didi le chien Achille l'âne et Polly le poney qui sont particulierement affectueux! De plus Mr Gayola est très à l'ecoute de ses hotes s'ils sont dans le besoin concernant n'importe quoi il repond toujours présent...Mr Gayola nous explique dès notre arrivé quelques sorties, animations .... qui existent dans la région et nous trouvons cela très bien pour organiser au mieux notre semaine! Nous recommandons ce gite sans soucis!

Super séjour

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour à la campagne et surtout au calme. Le gîte est spacieux et a du cachet. Nous n’oublions jamais Germinal et son chien ainsi que sa voisine Sophie. Germinal est super, à l’écoute et très discret. Nous reviendrons !!!

Un fabuleux séjour!

Germinal et Céline nous ont permis de passer de merveilleuses vacances, tant par leur disponibilité, leur dynamisme et leurs attentions que par leurs connaissances de la région qu’ils nous ont fait partager. Le grand gite, très bien équipé, est situé au milieu de la verdure, au calme, et entouré d’animaux. Le village de Saint Pierre de Trivisy est à deux pas avec tous les services nécessaires. On se sent presque chez soi, et on redécouvre le plaisir de prendre le temps. Nous nous sommes régalés avec les miels, confitures, gâteaux, jus de pommes faits maison et avec le lait de la ferme voisine qui nous a chaleureusement accueillis pour la traite. Beaucoup d’activités autour du gîte et de nombreuses visites dans cette belle région, les enfants de 8 et 10 ans ont adoré le sentiment de liberté au contact de cette nature apaisante. Un grand merci pour ce superbe séjour !

Zalig stil en ontspannend

Wij werden heel goed verwelkomd door de heer Gayola. Een heerlijk stille plaats om te verblijven. Door het warme weer was het zwembad een pluspunt. Heer Gayola heeft ons meegenomen naar de koeien waar we verse melk konden proeven. Hij zei waar we in het kleine dorp konden gaan eten aan een schappelijke prijs. Zelf maakt de Heer Gayola superlekkere maaltijden. Echt een aanrader. Voor ons alle punten. De Belgische vrienden, Vic, Jean-marie, Linda, Kathy en Mia

Ein super Haus und ein klasse Vermieter

Wir haben unsere Osterferien im und am Haus sehr genossen. Es war alles da, was man brauchte. Die Jungs haben die Mountainbikes ausgiebig genutzt. Da es noch etws kühl war, konnten wir mit dem Kamin schön zuheizen. Wir wurden mit frischen Eiern vom Hof versorgt und Milch konnten wir uns frisch "aus dem Euter" holen (ca. 5 min.mit dem Auto). Germinals Ausflugstipps waren ausnahmslos Volltreffer! Wir konnten Germinal immer ansprechen. Kommunikation war unkompliziert, da Germinal gut Englisch spricht (da wir leider nur wenig Französisch sprechen können). Wenn wir noch schon "alles" in der Nähe gesehen hätten, würden wir wieder hinfahren. Nina, Christian, Lena, Tom, Jan und Findus der Hund

Der Besitzer kümmert sehr um seine Gäste. Er bezieht, wenn man es möchte, die Kinder bei der Pflege des Esels und des Ponys mit ein, kocht hervorragend und hat viele individuelle sowie regionale Empfehlungen. Sehr kinderfreundliche Unterkunft.

Wunderbar ruhig und gastfreundlich, aber nichts für große Leute

Gayola Germinal und seine Frau sind sehr gastfreundlich und können viele Tipps für Ausflüge in der Umgebung geben. Die Gite liegt in einer herrlich ruhigen ländlichen Umgebung, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten inklusive "Depot de pain" findet man im nächsten Dorf (5 Minuten mit dem Auto). Das Haus bietet viel Platz, hat aber niedrige Türen, so dass man als normal großer Mensch meistens den Kopf einziehen muss.
