“The setting is beautiful and unique. The accomodations were very nice. Our room in particular was quaint and reflective of the natural surroundings. We did have an issue with our shower but the staff were very helpful and apologetic. We ate at the onsite restaurant. The food was (maybe not Michelin Star worthy but) very good and the service was excellent. All in I would recommend this hotel as a comfortable and interesting stop in their travels.”

“Tout était parfait de l'accueil, les locaux, le calme de l'hôtel, les services proposés.. La superbe terrasse extérieure ombragée, le bar et restaurant ainsi que le spa sur place. J'ai prolongé mon séjour d'une nuit supplémentaire pour profiter de ce superbe établissement et repartir reposée. Et je je ne manquerai pas de revenir a nouveau lors de mon prochain passage dans la région.”

“Great location for exploring the beautiful historic city of Perigeaux located within easy walking distance of the center with free parking just around the corner. Clean, comfortable with very nice bar/restaurant and terrace. Breakfast buffet was very good but evening meal was poor. With the exception of one stroppy young waitress who seemed to resent that we were not fluent in French, all of the staff were excellent and very helpful. No hesitation to recommend.”

“Absolutely LOVED our stay. Everything was perfect. We even got upgraded! Room was lovely and clean with a pretty view from the 1st floor (2nd floor in North America). Location was excellent. Our favourite staff was Benedict at the front desk- she was so lovely and friendly. She was a joy to see at the reception. Our other favourite staff was Sammy at the restaurant who was attentive and also hilarious. Our “4 course” dinner was divine. Spoiler alert: you get more than 4 courses. On market……

“Le Mas des Bories ved Perigueux er det meget charmerende sted i gammel stil med stor have og pool. Ideelt hvis man ønsker at bo på landet i fredelige omgivelser. Vi havde en juniorsuite med stor balkon fint møbleret. Værten er meget hjælpsom og morgenmaden fin. Et godt sted for nogle dages ophold.”

“The Chateau is well set back from the nearby road and there is no traffic noise. There is lots of parking on the site in several areas. We stayed in the Chateau rather than the more modern accommodation nearby. A lift was available to our room and since it was very warm ,40C, our room had an air conditioning unit, in the room. The room had lovely features and was very comfortable. Dinner in the lovely restaurant was first class. The chef adjusted dishes where appropriate because of my Coeliac……
