"Gorgeous hotel in a quiet location, 2 minutes from the beach, friendly staff, on-site spa with great services... It's a little piece of heaven. The only thing I could see that might turn people off is the staff don't all speak English fluently, but as a French speaker myself, I found them to be very considerate and lovely. Definitely worth the price!"

"L’hôtel est un peu vieillot mais le cadre est magnifique, nous avons adoré la piscine atypique et l’accès direct sur la plage. Nous avons eu un beau coucher de soleil tout en sirotant nos cocktails au bar. Par contre l’accueil n’est pas le même pour tous les clients de l’hôtel. Personne ne nous a proposé de prendre nos bagages comme pour les arrivées avant et après nous (nous avons vu et entendu les propositions pour les autres). "We truly loved the absolutely remote location of Diana Dea Lodge – it’s a peaceful hideaway surrounded by nature. That said, reaching the hotel is a bit of an adventure: the steep, winding road up requires some confidence, especially when navigating the occasional oncoming car in the dark. "Spacious, well appointed rooms with well stocked kitchen area. Situated on the lagoon where you xan swim. Pool did get a little busy, used mainly by families but generally managed to get sunbed on the beach. Staff were exceptionally halpful and friendly, making us feel very welcome."

The only criticisms to make are that the bar staff are somewhat amateurish and the food in the restaurant is very limited in choice and poor in quality by Réunion standards. However, on Sunday evening there is very little choice as almost all restaurants in the city are closed."

The rooms were super clean, we didn’t see a single bug (which we were expecting). Had a gecko in the room who lived behind our tv who may have managed the bug situation. Buffet was good but limited selection if you are, or have, a picky eater."
