“We were warmly welcomed by Mélanie on arrival. Her English surpassed our limited French. She showed us the home and was available whenever we had questions during our stay. Home - house was charming and exactly the experience we were seeking for the area. Teens enjoyed the upstairs bedrooms; AC was available.Living room furniture was comfortable.Kitchen was well stocked with some food supplies, equipment for cooking and dining dishes. “This place is terrific. Of the many houses/apartments I’ve rented on VRBO, this was by far the best. It was one of the few places where the house is actually nicer than the pictures, and the pictures are very nice indeed. The hosts were gracious and helpful, and the house was stocked with welcoming wine, pate and cheeses. This is a winner. Jonathan Zavin”

“The villa is amazing, 4 bedrooms all with en-suite, 3 looking out over the pool. The infinity pool is a perfect size with stunning views of the Dordogne countryside. The local village has loads of bars, restaurants and shops and the carrefour supermarket is 5 mins away. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning. ”

“We had a lovely stay! The property was as described, and in the hot weather it was really nice to be able to cool down in the pool. The property owner, Evelyne, does not speak a lot of english, but with the help of a translator app we managed to communicate quite well. A few minor issues were quickly sorted out, and one day she even brought us fresh eggs. ”

“We booked Chez Suzy for a family reunion, and it was perfect. 7 berooms, most ensuite. Facilities were great too with a lovely pool and gardens. Nice bbq area with a choice of either charcoal or gas. We dined outside as we barbecued most nights with the seating area more than adequate for our number. Most of the family drove from the UK, Germany and Gibraltar and more than enough room for the 3 cars.We highly recommend and hopefully we can visit again.Evelyne proved a lovely host and was always……
