"The first thing you should know is that this is not a hotel. It's an apartment with two flats, one on the second floor and one on the third floor, above a storefront about half way between the Ueno and Asakusa stations. That said, it's not bad as a rental apartment, and was a good fill-in for us when our Air BnB booking was cancelled on short notice. "The check in process was easy. Staff directed to a screen to allocate the room key. Room is tiny and internet is only accessible from room. Laundry services on bottom level, with small and very basic gym (treadmill, rower, bike, dumbbells and a single bench). The laundry room often smelled due to the heat, microwave in the same room, and close proximity to the public spa. "
