“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We spent a lot of our stay relaxing outside enjoying the breeze and the view, which was our main purpose for this trip. We were within walking distance of some wonderful shops. We highly recommend visiting these places. We were also a short distance (2-3 minute walk) from Pace Park, a neighborhood park that our dog enjoyed. This trip was 100% enjoyable! Would we stay here again? Most definitely.”

“This home was amazing for our family reunion. Everyone had their own bedroom and the kids loved the pool, spa and all the games they had. The arcade game had like 1000 games. The home was enormous and the kids loved playing hide and seek. The three fridges and freezers was plenty of space for all the food and drinks we had. “Tom and his family have created an absolutely magical place for a big group to enjoy. There are two homes connected by a covered walkway. They have a log cabin exterior and tall vaulted main areas, much like a high end hunting/skiing lodge would have. The primary home has 3 large bedrooms and an amazing main area that is open concept between the kitchen, dining, and living areas. “We loved this place, only wished the river was a bit higher. Lots of games and books for kiddos of all ages. We were stuck with rainstorms one day and found plenty to do without turning to electronics. Great out of the way feel but still in the city and nice being right by the trail entrance. We took our 50lb dog and she was fine in the yard. Smaller may be able to get out under some of the gaps so just be aware. “We booked 18 months ahead of time to visit during the 2024 total eclipse. Check in was a breeze and our entire stay was wonderful. The pool was just the right size and the hot tub a wonderful spot to hang out when a big downpour hit. The hosts have thought of every little detail-- toothbrushes and bathroom supplies like razors or shampoo if you forget yours; Keurig pods, a little snack bin, even pool toys, dog waste disposal bags and a large crate for those who travel with dogs.
