「This roomy unit is located in a quiet neighborhood, near downtown and close to the two best parks in Salem. It takes up the entire second floor of a separate building from the main house. The weak link is the eating space, which is quite small but adequate for up to 2 people. The spacious deck above the alley looks out over back yards and a parking lot, but it feels very private. Overall, the unit is very comfortable and is quite a good value.」

「This adorable basement apartment was just as the pictures are listed. There were no surprises.Abigail the host is the sweetest and amazing. We hated to leave and wish we could have stayed the rest of the week.There are chickens on the ground that I enjoyed seeing and talking to.You will be happy you chose this property for your stay.Will stay there if ever in the area again.」

「Hawk's Nest is an absolute gem, we still can't believe our luck in finding it! Tracey and Aaron are so welcoming, as are Gia and Monty (the pups). The space is clean, bright and well laid out. The views at every turn are absolutely stunning. And you are on a winery with delicious wines, so you are winning in every way if you stay there. It was so great to be able to check out all the nearby wineries and then end the day with a yummy last glass right at home. The location is great for checking...

「Bring ear plugs! We checked in and saw one set of earplugs and wondered why. The hotel is above a night club. Loud music played until midnight or so. Wish we would’ve known this before booking because it would have been a no go for us. Room is very tight and the shower/toilet are a is the size you would find on a cruise ship. We made it work for the two night stay but we will not come back or recommend the place.」
