“I and a friend stayed here while on a fishing trip. The pictures and description of the property was accurate. It is small, but if you’re staying while hunting or fishing it fits the bill. It is a little house—just as advertised—but nicely set up and equipped. It is about 11 miles out of Licking. If you come in to stay, a piece of advice: do NOT take Slabtown Rd in to the property. “The host canceled our stay due to loss of heating. Unfortunately, she sent an email at midnight the night before our stay. I did not see the email and our whole family converged on the rental and were told it was unavailable. While I understand the need to cancel the reservation, I think a phone call would have been a better choice of notification. We were left trying to scramble for other accommodations for our family celebration at 4:00 pm on a Saturday.”
