"The hotel is clean and has good decor but it is in an undeveloped area and is overpriced. We paid the same for a 4 star hotel in Ortigia which had a bigger room and proper restaurant. To get to the main Lipari town you need to get on a local bus which takes about 15 minutes. The area is a bit run down with no decent restaurants. The wifi didn't work in our room during the evening. Other people were more fortunate. We must have been in a black spot. The staff didn't help with this...

"L’appartement était très bien placé, dans une petite ruelle un peu à l’écart de la rue principale ce qui rend l’emplacement très pratique, à proximité des restaurants, glaciers, supermarché, sans la foule ni le bruit. "The room was comfortable and the breakfast terrace was a great way to start the day. The location is great, a short 5 minute walk into the main port area. I do recommend taking them up on their transfer offer to the port, I booked my own cab and it was 3x the price. The only issues I ran into was that the WiFi wasn't strong enough to do much of anything...no streaming on the TV, no video calls, my cell service was faster. If you need reliable internet service, look elsewhere. The housekeepers...

Top Salina Island Hotel Reviews

Hotel Mea - Aeolian Charme

8/10 Good

"Excellent restaurant for dinner, mediocre breakfast.Good location and view. Hotel is a bit dated. Elevator a big plus.Helpful and responsive staff. Use their wonderful taxi driver to get to and from hotel or anywhere else"

Hotel Villa Enrica - Aeolian Charme

8/10 Good

"The best feature of this hotel is the view, overlooking the town and the bay. It's a 10-15 minute walk to town, on a road that is not always safe for pedestrians. Nice ifinity pool. The rooms are spacious, quiet and comfortable but I would expect a 4-star hotel to have a coffee maker and real glasses, not plastic! The wifi connection is very spotty. The staff was friendly and helpful."

Hotel L’Ariana ISOLE EOLIE - UNA Esperienze

10/10 Excellent

"The property is very close to the port and beach. The room was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfortable. It is close to Pa pe Ro which has fabulous food and Demarcos Pizza , also very good . Excellent place ."

Hotel Mamma Santina

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel is very boutique. Staff picker my wife and I up at the port and brought us inside the hotel. They were nice enough to upgrade our room to one of the better sweets for our honeymoon. Complementary breakfast was delicious with homemade cake and granita. Staff was incredibly accommodating and were happy to help with caring bags and providing recommendations. This hotel and island is a very special place. The staff also brought us back to port to catch our catamaran back to Sicily. Super sweet people. Also the pool was very clean and the hotel is walking distance from the town. 10/10 recommendation."
