"Having traveled and experienced a wide variety of hotel/hostel standards, my assessment of Samsara Hotel is that is at best a 2nd rate hostel. Our room (#10) was dark and musty and felt like a dorm room. The bathroom was hardly usable with the sink having such a short faucet that you could barely wash your hands. The shower offered NO water one evening and when it was eventually turned on, the pressure provided only a trickle next to the wall. Additioanally, the walls & ceiling were moldy...

"I wanted to have the time to review this site. I think this is a perfect place to relax and enjoy your staying in Salta. "We’ve stayed here before and so long as you don’t accept Apt 1A, it’s great. 1A is overlooked by the café, has no balcony and has floor cleaning equipment right next to the bed. One word of caution - there is no longer any physical presence in the building so you must have a charged phone to get door codes etc. "
