“My wife and I spent a week in the rental on a family holiday in Cornwall. The cottage was absolutely perfect for us and would recommend to any couple. It is cosy and nicely designed. Highlights are of course the views and terrace area outside. It is quite small with limited storage space for clothes etc but we easily stored them under the bed. And make sure you are ok to climb the 66 steps up to the cottage a few times a day :)”

“The chalet was clean warm and cosy, Maggie the host was very helpful. The chalet was slightly remote but the views made up for it. If you like walking it’s ideal.”

“We were a bit nervous having read some poor reviews for Whitsand Bay Fort but this unit is privately owned and was perfect for us as a family of 4. Everything we needed was provided. If you're looking for lots of beach time, the closest beach is Treganhawke which is absolutely beautiful and there are life guards on duty however the climb is really steep so be prepared 😀”

“We spent a wonderful week in this really lovely house directly at the shore to the English channel. Stunning view from the terrace, sea atmosphere, fully equipped kitchen, large bedrooms, beach in direct vicinity, two really nice places for eating out... Perfectly organized check-in and check-out, nice and direct contact to the landlord - ten out of ten!”

“We had a wonderful time in Lower Hill Cottage. The hot tub was wonderful and enjoyed by the children. Was fun having to put the logs on to make/keep it hot. Could have done with a few games in the cottage for when the weather turned on us mind. I recommend Shell Woods and definitely Blisland Woods. I would definitely recommend this little holiday home. “Lovely modern, light and very comfortable accommodation throughout with pretty much everything you need although there was no washing machine. My personal preference would be a washing machine rather than a dish washer, but this is a very minor issue. I understand from the host that a washing machine is planned to be installed. Nice surroundings with a lovely veranda to sit out on and outside space to enjoy too. It was a little remote from local amenities for us but certainly ideal for a……

“This was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had with a holiday rental. We ended up not staying the night at all, despite paying 357 for a one-night stay – which is completely unreasonable given the state of the property.The outdoor areas were dirty and unusable, with neglected furniture and no signs of recent cleaning. Inside, the sofa and lounge area were grubby and uncomfortable. The whole place felt uncared for and unclean – nothing like the photos or description.The directions provided……
