“Salthill Hotel is in a great location, lovely beach views and easy access to stroll on the promenade. The breakfast was good. I don't know what they were passing off as a chicken caesar salad but it was horrible. Whatever it was, it wasn't caesar but doused in it. Pizza was good enough. Music in the bar on saturday night was entertaining. Not trad but a good mix of classics and country. The rooms felt a little dated. Bed was comfy. Shower pressure good.”

“Nice clean place with lots of amenities. We picked this place to stay with our two teen children so they could each have their own room, we had a rental car and parking is on the property, and it’s fairly close to downtown. It’s situated in a nice quiet family friendly neighborhood. Rather than try parking downtown we left the car there and took taxis to and from the Latin Quarter, which is about a 10 minute ride.
