Salvo spring vacation

Great stay in Salvo for the beginning of spring. Rental was accurately described in listing. Outer Banks are amazing, can’t wait to return!

Secluded surprise

The house was huge. It was a great size for my big family. Lots of room to spread out and have space. Nice big pool. Water views on both the front and back. Nice updated deck. Beds mostly comfortable except for one or two. No bugs. This close to the water I was expecting lots of bugs I never saw anything but flies and that was from us going in and out. Now for the not so great. There are a lot of minor things that need to be taken care of to make this house great. Simply spend a little money to patch up the drywall where needed, replace the broken tiles, replace the broken curtain rods and get new curtains, replace the dishwasher upstairs, get some new pans. And I would swap the tv in the theater room and the one in the great room. It’s too big for that small area. There is more room on the fourth floor to sit and watch something together. Oh and rugs or bathmats, and something to sit on on each floor would be nice, it’s a lot of stairs, maybe a small bench or something in the hallway? These things would make it more homey. More inviting.
