"This is a great property for those looking for an OBX property that isn’t ginormous. Definitely an updated older beach home, with nice updated decor. Under-house entertaining and game room were nice features. Host is highly attentive. The property is next to a somewhat busy road on one side, but that also allowed for easy access to walking trails. Beach was a very short walk and didn’t involve crossing any roads. We had a great time. "

"This semi-oceanfront home was a dream! the panoramic views of the ocean from the living room and deck were absolutely breathtaking! We loved the convenience of the private walkway directly to the beach, and the house was perfectly equipped with everything we needed including beach towels and chairs. "Hey everyone, we had a fantastic time in Salvo. I’m not here to compare real estate, but the house, although a bit dated and in need of a few minor fixes, was overall fantastic. The kitchen was well-equipped, the rooms were clean, and the hot tub was great. It was conveniently located between a couple of beach access points, making it an excellent value for the price. No complaints at all. I highly recommend checking this place out.Additionally, I spoke with the caretaker about the older reviews regarding the mattress covers and the non-functioning A/C. Those issues had all been resolved—the A/C was ice cold, and the beds were fine. We saved a lot of money by cooking dinners and breakfasts. Finally, the WiFi was flawless and parking was a breeze! "
