  • A 7 minutes walk to the beautiful beach of Playa Bonita, our house is built to receive families and couples.
    The price is based depending on space desired. You can rent for 2-10 people.
    Price is for one bedroom and will go up if you need more bedrooms.
    Please note that if you only rent one room, the other rooms will remain vacant.
    We do not rent to multiple parties at one time.
    Our more than 3,000 sq. ft interior space is decorated with the taste of the beach. All prices include internet wifi, cable, full kitchen,pool,24/7 security,daily cleaning house,beach towel,barbecue etc...

Love Villa Mares

Highly recommend for first timers to the Dominican Republic specially families with all adult members and looking for a low key experience. Corina is great and Doña Mari is the best host. Can’t wait to go back!

It's a nice house, and the Haitian staff is very friendly and helpful. But be aware that a big apartment complex is being built next door, with trucks and caterpillars starting to rumble around shortly after 7 in the morning. You should also know that the dirt road leading to the property can be difficult to pass with a regular vehicle after heavy rain.

I’m giving this stay 3.5 out of 5 stars. While the property had some positive aspects, there were several issues that affected our overall experience. The listing advertised the beach as a 5-minute walk, but it was actually closer to a 15-minute walk or about a 5-minute drive, which felt misleading. The villa itself was somewhat dated, and during our stay there was a scheduled power outage that we were not informed about in advance. The host only explained it after the outage occurred and we made her aware of said outtage. The linens were adequate, but the overall atmosphere was average. The pool was not as clean as expected, and the entrance to the property did not feel particularly welcoming or secure. Additionally, there were numerous domestic pets roaming the property that were not mentioned in the listing or included as part of the advertised experience. While some guests may not mind animals, I believe this is something future visitors should be made aware of before booking. Overall, the stay was acceptable, but better communication, more accurate descriptions, and improved property maintenance would have made for a much better experience.

außergewöhnliche Villa in ruhiger Lage - fußläufig zur Playa Bonita

nach anderer Erfahrung fanden wir diese Perle kurzfristig. In wunderschöner ruhiger Anlage mit noch 3 anderen Villen, tollem Pool, riesiger Terrasse (Open Air Wohnzimmer). Verwaltung immer da und ansprechbar (auf spanisch). Sofortige und direkt Rückmeldung vom Eigentümer auf alle Fragen - 1 A unbedingt weiter zu empfehlen. Wir werden wiederkommen, sollten wir nach Samana kommen Dankeschön

Another Great Stay!!!

This is our 4th time renting this property. We haven't been able to visit for 2 years due to the pandemic so returning was like going back to our second home. The villa is beautiful! Mary the house keeper and Willy the property management are always around to get you what you need and are lovely! This visit we also had the privilege of the owners Jean and Corina taking on the town to show us some great places to eat and have cocktails!! Jean and Corina are also very responsive if you have concerns or questions about anything. The villa is tucked away just far enough from any noise but close enough to the beach and town!!! Can't wait to return!!! Thanks again guys for another wonderful holiday!!

Enjoyed my stay !

Not far from the beach at all, the pool was great and the staff was very attentive and helpful. I would definitely stay here again ! The only problem was the road to get in and out of the property. They are dirt roads and would normally already be a haste for cars to get in but it rained every day of my stay and the roads had holes in them which made it even more difficult to come in and out of the property. It would be nice if the owners all came together and invested on fixing the roads, I think they would get even more business than they already do. Besides that I loved my stay ! There was a grill which we used and each room has its own bathroom so no one had to share.

Great hosts...would definitely recommend!

Hosts were great and the service with Doña Meri is exceptional. Only drawback is the location is off the beach and takes a little effort to get there. Would definitely recommend.
