“If a view is important to you, definitely consider Villa Estrella del Norte. The view is absolutely stunning.Villa is not air conditioned, but each bedroom has a ceiling fan and constant breeze meant we rarely used them.The road to the villa from the highway is very steep, but is navigable in an ordinary car without 4X4. 35 minutes from El Catey airport.The local property manager, Randy from AIC Dominicana in Las Terrenas, had excellent communication. “The villa was very comfortable and fit our family needs. The beach across the street was great for our grandchildren for swimming and snorkeling. Even our 6 year old granddaughter was able to enjoy swimming in the calm water. Francheska was great at answering all our questions with prompt responses. “Our stay, although short, was very nice at Castillo Romano. Theo and Morena made sure to welcome me and my family with open arms. Morena is an amazing cook and very friendly. Don Theo is the best! He helped us with anything we needed in the house and even gave us good advise for our trip to El Salto Del Limón. The castle is well kept and has amazing views. If ever back in the Terrenas with my huge family, I’ll be sure to book again!”

Hair dryer was missing but one was purchased the next day.We loved having the private pool to come back too on hot days and the comfortable living room with tv on rainy days.Communication with the host was excellent always got back to us within the hour.The security staff was friendly and helpful.Location is perfect everything is within walking distance.
