2. Modern Shipping Container With Beautiful Pool!

Samara

"We had an amazing 10 day stay at SeaCasa! Jackie (the property manager) was very helpful with any questions we had. The shipping container seems to be the perfect way to go in Costa Rica. We also rented an ATV for the days we were there, which was perfect! Felt very safe & the pool was amazing! Close to the beach, jungles & downtown Samara. Went zip-lining, river kayaking, & fishing! Pura Vida! "

3. Casa Taupe

Puerto Carrillo

"Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that...

Villas Verdes

10/10 Excellent

"Beautiful property, nice pool and great staff! Super close to grocery stores, coffee and the beach!"

Heaven On Earth! Perfect Get-Away! Gorgeous Beach. Pool. Couples &/or Families.

10/10 Excellent

"This property was absolutely perfect for our family of 4. It was a little slice of paradise in paradise! The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms spacious and the stock of necessities included everything you could possibly need for inside and out. The beach chairs, boogie boards, tote bags and a wagon to transport it all made the quick walk to the beach a breeze. Communication with the owner was smooth and friendly, they even offered to refund the cost of a supply that had run out. We would 100% recommend this rental for your trip to Samara and will be hoping it is available if we return ourselves."

Luxury by the Beach - Great for Families or Multiple Couples

10/10 Excellent

"The check in process was easy, buy the rental office was a little challenging to find. The sign is small and it is in a back corner amongst other shops. After we found it, the process was smooth. The rental agent even escorted us to the property to be sure we were comfortable with the locks and safe. The property was clean and they had cleaners come twice during our stay which was great. The a/c units were a blessing with the heat and humidity and the pool was used a lot. We felt safe in the house, but they also had a security guard each evening which made us feel even more secure. We had to scoop a couple of crabs from the pool each morning, but there was equipment there to make this possible. We walked to the beach and swam in the ocean multiple times since it was so close. The only downside was the living room fan. It was not working and would have been nice to help with air movement in the big living room. We did contact the rental office and they checked but it was not able to be repaired during our stay. The owner and rental agency were great with communication and answering our questions."

Hotel El Pequeño Gecko Verde

10/10 Excellent

"Tout était impeccable ; la chambre, la piscine,… Impossible de se sentir plus dans la jungle qu’à cet endroit! C’était magique de prendre son café dans le hamac ou se laver dans la douche extérieure. Le déjeuner était succulent et différent des « classiques » du coin. La plage de Samara était à 5 minutes de voiture: toujours facile de se stationner. Honnêtement, la tranquillité valait la distance. Excellent service, très accommodants. J’ai tout adoré!!! Merci"
