"We had a wonderful stay in the ground-floor studio at Ballas Apartments. The courtyard is amazing, and the views looking across Agia Effimia harbour are absolutely incredible. Stavros was an exceptional, genuinely helpful host who went above and beyond at all times to ensure we had the best holiday. Location-wise, it’s ideal—we easily drove to Assos and Fiskardo in around 40 minutes. The drive from the airport is straightforward, but a hire car is essential for exploring. "Great place, kind hosts and a gorgeous setting! It’s a really beautiful place, and the owners takes great care of it and you as a guest! The location is perfect, it’s a nice little stroll to get to Sami and it’s no longer than 40min to drive anywhere on the island. There are also a lot of things to see and experience in the local area, and only a 5-10 minute walk to the beautiful Melissani cave. "

"Hotel complex was beautifully presented and watching the sun set from the main pool/restaurant was amazing. Our room was modest, but nicely furnished. Our only real issue all stay was a tardy response to requests. Not quite 5 star level. We asked about extending our stay and they finally replied at 11:30pm, by ringing our room and waking us up. Very peculiar and unprofessional! Fiskardo is a sensational base from which to explore. The harbour is so picturesque. We enjoyed a day trip to Vasiliki."

"Wonderful villa with fabulous views of the ocean. Villa was very clean and modern. Pool and garden area well maintained and the view out to the ocean is fabulous. All windows have screens to keep any bugs out so you can enjoy the gentle breeze from being in an elevated locale."

"The hotel is located in a lovely little village with a harbour and lots of very good traditional restaurants. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are large and comfortable and all have large balconies with beautiful views across to Sami and the island of Ithaca. Our room had a huge bed and had a great power shower and fluffy white bath towels. It was all very clean and well maintained. The pool was very clean and had plenty of seating areas, although not a lot of shade which is what we prefer. It was very quiet (early June) which we really enjoyed as it made for a very relaxing holiday."
