Arrived at the property to be told I need to call and find out what room I’m in, I tried too but no joy so eventually the staff helped they phoned and got my room number then had to go back down to get the key code.
I booked with Expedia and not had this issue before.
I went to the bar the next night no one was there asked the ladies on the desk they said he’s around somewhere but I don’t no where so I went back to my room didn’t bother having a drink.
They just seemed not interested in helping.
This place advertise under false advertising usin Hotel Iceberg as its Front for its business Iceberg Hotel. The room is disgusting, bedding stained, sofa ripped and net curtains hanging off and no proper curtains. All cutlery and utensils dirty as was the cupboarrd work surface and the floor, we had to clean everything ourselves with disinfectant wipes before our son could touch anything. BATH LEAKS, Hot water temperature is scolding hot and not able to touch but no warnings about the temperature. The service form the point of contact/owner shocking, advertisement says free breakfast use of spa, poc says you need tto pay etc for breakfast and spa as they have no clue what the arrangements are. This is a frontt for a business that bears no sembelnce to Hotel Iceberg staffwho are very helpful.
I will be contacting Hotels.com for a refund.
Shame about the food but seems to be pretty standard across Bulgaria in the hotels, luckily food is reasonable and lovely in the local bars, probably wouldn’t book half board again but I’d definitely go back there
