Perfection

We loved our stay here. It was perfect for us, and such a lovely home. We walked to the beach each night to watch the sunset. Having a garage to park made life so easy. We can’t wait to stay here again.

Fun property steps from the beach

Fun layout w/ hot tub and fire pit. Just steps from the beach...fun walk down to the waterPlenty of space to hang out at the property.Lots of steps however, with a winding staircase from the garage to the main level.Nice 2 car garage.

Spacious and comfortable

The house was really lovely! I rented the space for a few days for a chill girl's trip and it was perfect. The couches were comfortable for movie watching, the kitchen was spacious for group cooking, the space was spacious so we all had enough space and didn't feel cramped. Would definitely return!

Great beach condo

Great location, able to walk to the beach. Family had next door unit so it worked well for a large family gathering. Loved the fire pit and comfy couches around it outside. Well equipped unit. Our group had 3 out of 4 of the units and we loved being able to go back and forth.

Great location, quiet beach

The location ok n was fantastic near the quiet beach of Califa. Home was well stocked and had beach toys and boogie boards my kids loved. Garage fit our Yukon xl (barely) but was great considering parking along the street is tight. Loved the hot tub and private patio area which we used a ton eating outside and just lounging around on our vacation. Beds were comfortable and they had lots of beach towels. Would stay there again. Some users said WiFi didn’t work but it was great for us with five devices connected. I will say if you have any mobility issues this location is not ideal as the house and beach access has lots of steps.

Great Beach Condo

Nice place. Clean, bright, and close to beach. The entry code they gave us did not work on the front door. Called Vacasa and they gave me a lockbox code to a physical key. The physical key did not work either. Luckily the entry code worked on the garage door. Had to use it to get in and out the whole time. If they replace the front door lock with one that worked it would be a great place to stay. Nice, clean, great location.

Great location, solid place, very good stay

Location for us (family of 4 w/adult children) was awesome. Easy walk down to quieter beach, quiet at night for sleeping, no through traffic, access to the beach path, etc. Loved the location a lot. Place has nice space spread out through 3 floors and nice, useable outdoor space. Hot tub was big and there was a table out there to eat outside and lounge space around the fire pit. While there our propane tank died and the door/lock to the garage broke so you couldn’t go in/out of garage. The management folks were reasonably responsive and got the fire pit working / extra propane in so no issues there. Only feedback is that the place could use a refresh as some elements are feeling a bit worn. Carpets in the master, broken screen door leading outside, and just some overall wear and tear. Kitchen supplies were a bit lighter than usual but had enough. Also would love more comfortable chairs in the dining area but that may just be our preference. Net-net it was a very good stay and I’d return/recommend. I value quiet and location highly and not overly fussed with the opportunity areas

Lack of Responsiveness

Master shower would not drain and could not be used. Notified manager. Sent guy unannounced with Draino but no effect. Said if it didnt work they would get a plumber. Never heard from them again and had only the one shower that functioned the entire time. Numerous other small issues that were frustrating like TV downstairs has large dark spot, making it unusable for movies or video games. Downstairs chair only has 3 legs. Hot tub was full of sand the day we arrived. Outdoor tables were dirty and I sent photos to manager. No response to that.

Great beach access

This condo worked ok for our family, the best thing about it is the walkable access to the beach...it only took us about 10 minutes with 2 small kiddos but you do go down many flights of steep stairs so you cannot pull a wagon or bring much down with you other than what you can carry on your back. The beach is absolutely beautiful, hardly any people, very clean, we had so much fun. The condo it's self needs some love, the upstairs carpet is so gross - very badly stained it kind of gives ya the yucks. The furniture is tired and some is broken. The kitchen is stocked very minimally compared to what I have seen in past rentals and the supplies are old (pans are very badly scratched, no veggie peeler, blender didn't work, coffee pot carafe doesn't fit well so it leaks). Be cautious when using the dryer it ruined 2 pieces of our clothing bc the lint trap doesn't fit and catches onto strings and straps and breaks them, such a bummer! The hot tub guy came on a Wednesday and left the water on overflowing the patio and it made the hot tub cold which was kind of a bummer bc we loved using it during the chilly mornings. The size and layout of the condo worked great for our family. We would definitely recommend this place just be leerily of what i mentioned in case those things matter to you. Hopefully the owners will update the carpet, do some paint touch up and refresh the kitchen supplies.

Way Overpriced Cheap Property w Bad Mgmt

First, never-ever rent a Vacasa-managed property. Second, don't waste your time or money on this one - it's one frustration after another and you get the privilege (for $850/night) of talking to a Vacasa rep in INDIA. Pictures make it look light, airy & spacious - big stretch. Sleeps 8 - so you'd think they'd have more than 4 Dollar-store forks in the kitchen? Or maybe 8 decent coffee mugs? Or perhaps a full set of glassware?...matching is clearly too much to ask. Oh, expect no more than salt & pepper in the cabinets. Cleanliness - it was ok on the surface, except a) sand in the hot tub (it's only cleaned 1x/week, so too bad if you check in and get the last guest's mess), and then there was a weird smell upstairs. Took a few days, but finally traced it to the thick ring of black mildew on the inside of the front-loader washer. Linens-wise - expect the striped-down bare minimum. Not a single extra blanket, not a throw-blanket on the couch. No extra pillows. No extras (chairs, etc.) for the beach. And then there's the internet - infuriating. Turns out they have rigged 4 units together to share one connection - CHEAP - so there's not enough band-width to run TVs without glitching every 5 min (don't plan on working). And it cuts out periodically, then permanently and needs to be reset by the property manager. Vacasa's brilliant answer on the phone had the guests digging up the modems and cables and trouble-shooting the system. SERIOUSLY? AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Beautiful clean comfortable getaway

Great stay!

This was a perfect stay for my trip! The home was clean and well-maintained. The patio was great for relaxing. Having parking was great as well. House could use a few more cooking pans and bring your suitcase through the front door, as the spiral stairs from garage were a bit difficult. Downstairs family room is a great place to get away or watch a movie! So much space and beach nearby.

Fantastic location very short walk to beach. Spacious and clean with all the amenities would need. Easy access to highway for visiting other parts of Southern California. Quiet. Was a great space for family vacation

Lovely condo near beach

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this condo near the beach. Overall the condo is clean and well-equipped. However, the carpet in the primary bedroom was terribly stained and should probably be replaced.

We needed a place where our family could stay. We chose this condo for its close proximity to the beach and because we had a 5 month old and the condo allowed us to keep him on his sleep schedule and let the adults enjoy time away

Great location: quiet and save neighborhood. Short and pleasant walk to the ocean. Must have a car. Luxurious apartment is upscale, elegant and huge ( 3 levels! ), clean, well lit; bedrums are spacious, with the ocean view from the window of 1 bedroom and from the balcony of the master bedroom. Very comfortable beds and beddings. Big closets with hangers and shelves. Washer and Dryer are next to all 3 bedrooms. Complementary detergent! Bring or buy your own softener. There is heater in the apartment. Huge space downstairs. Great island in the kitchen. Brand new appliances. Huge kitchen sink. There is a filtered cold water faucet on the left wall inside of refrigerator, which I did not notice at first. Large shaded, totally private patio with fire pit, couch, armchairs, jacuzzi, dining table adds comfort to the guests. I have only 2 recommendations to the management: 1. to replace the old dining chairs with collapsed sagging seats to the new chairs. We put the coach cushions on each chair to sit comfortable at the table. 2. Have an electrical teapot. We boiled water in a pot. We were very happy with our stay. Thank you.
