Our second stay
Couldn't be a better location. Fast walk to the beach. Close to hiking in the area. Outdoor shower a plus. Owner provided a surf board. I cannot say enough good things about this studio.

Great Quaint & Charming Cottage
I loved this little place. The studio is well furnished with a wonderful outdoor space in the back. The kitchenette gives flexibility for light meals, snacks, and coffee in house. The host communicated well, provided information and recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. This is walking distance to the beach and a few local eateries. I would stay again when in the area!

Nice stay
We needed a place for a nice and relaxing rest for one night and this place was just that. We enjoyed the welcome margaritas in the quaint backyard upon arrival. It felt private which we appreciated. There were decent restaurants and coffee shops walking distance and the beach was a quick easy walk as well. Thanks for a nice stay!

Cute place!
The place was clean and in a great neighborhood! Super close to the beach and cute restaurants nearby! We enjoyed the margaritas and chips and salsa that the host left for us! They knew we were bringing our two kids and they left a couple of juices for them in the fridge, such a nice thought, it's the little things.... Thank you again!!

Lovely studio by the beach
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. We spent a lot of time in the private courtyard when we weren't at the beach or exploring many of the other great things to do near the rental. Parking was convenient, and there are lots of restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing
We loved our stay in this quaint, safe, quiet bungalow. Very clean, and has a very Zen feel. I wish we would had made our reservation longer. Bed was comfortable, kitchen nicely stocked, and unique touches through out. We will stay here again on our next San Diego visit.

Sweet place
I was very happy staying this this sweet, cozy abode. The studio was nicely decorated, it was clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the makings for the margaritas! The location was a quiet residential street near the beach and restaurants. I wish I could've stayed longer!

Great Location!
Had a great time. Short walk to the beach and tons of restaurants etc. Nice, quiet, neighborhood, easy parking. Everything we needed was there. Loved the private backyard and enjoyed the nice shower and feel of the place. We appreciated the treats that were left out and although we didn't take advantage of them, the dvds, TV, and the well-stocked kitchen. Wish we had time to use the bikes. We would def. book again if in the area.

Great location and unit
The property was a perfect get-away. Loved being able to walk to restaurants. I didn’t get a chance to use the outdoor shower but the indoor wood shower was great and gave a spa-like feeling. The backyard felt like an oasis. Highly recommend and would stay here again!

We felt completely at home.
Very clean, great location near LaJolla, owner was on the property but never intrusive! She was always available for any questions. Overall, 5/5! We will be back! Highly recommended!

Cozy space near the beach!!
My husband and I loved our quick trip through San Diego and this was the perfect spot! Cozy and quaint! Bed was super comfy and the patio was nice & private. Has a free parking space and literally minutes to the ocean, we will definitely be back :)

Drive right up to your front door
Canopy-covered parking is your designated parking space. You don't need to worry about finding a parking space. Your doggy has a fenced backyard to explore. The grounds appear to be landscaped by a master landscaper. As I walked the property, I was impressed with the canopies of lush flowering vines. You can smell the honeysuckle. One could imagine, that one could catch a glimpse of a fairy or elven folk. Truly a magical place, to recharge your mind and spirit. Located near a world-famous surfer's beach where many past and present greats have surfed. There are restaurants located within walking distance. A safe neighborhood. These are just some of the reasons that this property is our number 1 choice when visiting San Diego.

Great location!
Great location for walking. Loved that we could have our dog here & there’s a little patio for him! You get a parking spot which is so nice. The owners were great & very accommodating. We actually went to another rental close to petco park after this & wished we would’ve stayed at this place instead! Would def come back :)

Tourmaline Beach Studio
We loved our little studio. Perfect for the 2 of us with everything we needed to cook some of own meals. The location is amazing; close to the beach and not far from all the places we visited in San Diego and Legoland. Walking distance to good restaurants too. Thank you for a great week.

Cozy and quiet cottage
We had the pleasure of staying at this cute cottage for 9 nights. Alisa was nothing but accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. This is a quick 5 minute walk to the beach, which is great for our two fur babies, it’s close to many restaurants, grocery stores, the laundromat, and many, many more conveniences. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and made our stay wonderful. We have already booked the cottage for our annual trip from Colorado to San Diego for 2024. Cannot go wrong staying here! Just What We Needed
We needed a quick getaway and this was perfect. The suite is adorable and has everything you need, The hosts were very warm and welcoming and my boyfriend and I couldn't have been more pleased with the neighborhood. It was walkable and I highly recommend the Fig Tree Cafe.

Was an absolute fantastic stay, wish I could’ve stayed longer. Such a cute outhouse, lot of privacy, great location to beach and 30 bus to downtown/La Jolla. Will be back anytime I’m in San Diego.

Very nice little place
Our 3 day stay was very enjoyable. Everything we needed was there, (and more). We loved the style of the studio. The bed was comfortable. It is close to everything and the parking was private and shaded. Alisa was very nice and pleasant to talk to. We would love to stay here again.

Three was not a crowd
Two parents and one elementary age child. We absolutely loved the location (less than ten minute walk to Tourlamine beach) in a cute, quiet, neighborhood with food options a block or two away. Close to but away from the day/night life of Pacific Beach - an easy bike or beach walk away. Loved that the property had beach cruisers for the beach "boardwalk" and two boogie-boards for the beach. October was the perfect time to go water-wise. Perfect temps, too. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. (Thanks for the margaritas and chips/dip!) Bungalow is best for two but our daughter was cozy on the couch. We definitely plan/hope to be back!

Great Stay! Wish I had booked more nights here
This was a great place to stay. Clean and cute. Owner was friendly and responsive. Watched the sun set at Tourmaline beach which is close. Someone started playing soft soothing tropical music on an electric guitar as the sun went down and a crescent moon came out. What a great memory. In the morning did a short Uber ride to La Jolla cove to see sea lions and seals. A mile or so walk south of there along the coast down to shell beach, children’s pool and the tidal pools. Waves crashing, so much wildlife and more seals and sea lions. Great location and great stay!

Amazing Hosts in a Garden Paradise!
We absolutely loved our stay at the Tourmaline Beach Studio. The studio was fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The couch was super comfy and the bed was heavenly! We really liked the shower with its sky-light and knotty pine walls. The vegetation around the studio was jungle-like and the birds, bees and butterflies enjoyed the patio as much as we did. Alisa and Darren were very personable and welcoming. The next time we are in San Diego we would love to stay with them again.

Great Getaway
We loved our time there with our Golden Retriever and the convenience of our surroundings. Beach within 3 blocks, restaurants and shops within blocks. Beach is open to dogs before 9am and after 6pm (time changes in November.) Bed was very comfortable and having a kitchenette was perfect. Patio was peaceful and a nice oasis with an outside shower for beach excursions. Having your own parking space was a great plus. We’ve sent the link to our kids so they can enjoy when visiting San Diego! Alisa was very kind and friendly. A great hostess with the special chips, salsa and margaritas to greet us! We plan on returning on our next visit 😊

Cute studio in perfect north PB location
Super cute studio within walking distance to beach, grocery store, Oscars Mexican seafood taco shop, etc. Owners are super responsive to guest needs, we ran out of propane and they fixed the bbq for us. We grilled fresh fish from a tuna boat in Point Loma and enjoyed our 1-week stay.

Love this little place.

Alisa has clearly paid attention to every detail in this warm and welcoming place. It felt like staying at a friend's guest house. Perfect little spot!
First of all, we could not have asked for a friendlier, more accommodating host. We very much appreciated being able to drop our luggage early. Immediate reply to our texts, welcome margaritas, chips and salsa - all great!! The little studio is super cute. Bright colors, comfy bed. Small, but laid out and set up just right. Love the unique shower. Love that it came with bikes, beach stuff, towels. Everything you need for a quick getaway. And you can’t beat the location!!! Walking/biking distance to all you need - beach, restaurants, bars, shops… EVERYTHING! You get all the stars!!! Can’t wait to come back. Thank you!!

Perfect
I was sad I couldn’t stay longer, looks just like the posting. Quick drive or easy walk to the beach. I didn’t have a chance to ride the bikes but I appreciated the idea. The owner is very nice and helpful.

Nice place
When I'm in San Diego I just need a place to drop my stuff and sleep. This place has a comfortable bed. And the kitchenette was perfect. Big bathroom. A little difficult to maneuver with the dogs sleeper open. But it was okay. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the place. There were tones of spider webs and it was pretty dusty. Other then that I would definitely go again

We do the cleaning ourselves and always appreciate observations and feedback for improvement. We're seniors, and think we'd better start wearing our glasses when we tidy the unit! A thorough dusting and cob web check has been completed.

The space was comfortable. Communication was great, appreciated the instructions and suggestions left in the room. The proximity to the beach area was great. Also nice to have the parking space since the road parking was full the whole time.

Wonderful
It was a wonderful stay! Everything you need is right in this little cottage! Loved the margaritas, chips and salsa, and capri suns for my grandkids that were waiting for our arrival! The bed is comfy and the outdoor shower is such an added bonus! And of course, being so close to the beach is amazing! We will definitely be back! Next time for two nights!

Great compact studio
We wished we could have stayed longer! Alisa was very welcoming and responsive to our questions about the neighborhood. We took advantage of the bikes available and went to the nearby boardwalk and felt safe on our bikes for a majority of the route to and from the beach. We were welcomed with chips, salsa, and a set of margarita kits that we enjoyed after biking. The bed is very comfortable, the internet was good, we had all the amenities in the studio that we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. Apart from the backyard bench and bikes that needed some dusting off everything was very clean. The shower was also very pleasant—good pressure, temperature, and unique! When we checked out in the morning one of the hosts came to greet us. We would certainly look to stay here again if we are in the area.

Very nice studio close to the beach
This is a very nice studio close to the beach. The surfers end of Pacific Beach was about a 2 block walk through a cozy neighborhood area. Walking distance of various restaurants, etc. I was initially going to stay in a dog friendly hotel in the area and checked VRBO on a whim expecting everything to be too large and pricy, but this was perfect. Everything you need including kitchen and grill, great location, parking, and a nice patio to relax in private to wind down from the days activities. I will recommend my friends check this out when they are next in San Diego. Thanks for a lovely time!
