“What an interesting place to stay in SF. The owner and assistant were so much fun, interesting and helpful. In a location in mid-south ish part of the city close to everything we wanted to do. We will recommend this spot to anyone that wants a bed and breakfast and/or something with tremendous history, nice room and bathroom with everything you could need. ”

“Worst hotel experience. The front desk people do nothing but sit there. They scam you when you’re there once you left the hotel they hold your money and prepare another saying. Don’t ever stay there.”

“Clean room. Good enough. Bathroom down the hall. Super white sheets with creases in them. Not the Ritz but not a hostel, nice to have your own space and not pay hotel prices. Good bar downstairs.”

“Incredibly friendly and helpful front-desk and housekeeping staff. Would answer my queries and accommodate my requests as best as they could. Convenient location: close to the Union Square, Powell Bart/Muni Station and the San Francisco Center (an AMAZING shoppers' paradise). Room is clean and well-kept. “You get what you pay for. Money was tight for me. If you a heavy sleeper and don’t wake up to the receptionist arguing with the homeless at 3am that are right outside the hotel and just for a place to sleep and completely ok people under the influence coming in you should come here. I grew up in that kind of environment so it’s whatever to me. Be warm the reception wakes up at 11am in the back, so if you need to check out early chances are he won’t be there. ”
