Save your money- Go somewhere else
The room was dirty, no parking available for my disabled husband and elederly mother. One night I drove around for AN HOUR looking for parking and still had to park 6 blocks away and walk back by myself late at night. The other night was almost that long trying to find a spot to park. However, there are 2 vehicles right outside the room that never moved the entire time we were there. Those vehilcles were covered in pollen and was obvious the street sweeper had cleaned around them, despite the 2 hour parking limit. I messaged the host as to where to park and they didn't respond to me until a day later, after I had accidentally parked in front of someones garage, after being up for almost 24 hours, and the host questioned why I would park there (there was no visible "No Parking" sign on the garage). We are from the midwest where you don't have to worry about parking. The coffee pot did not work, 1 towel for each guest for 2 booked days, walls are paper thin as we heard the neighbors upstairs. The sprinklers and fan in the bathroom were caked in dirt/dust. There is no real common area to sit, only at the kitchen table. We did not enjoy our time in San Francisco and this was the icing on the cake. We are from the midwest where everyone is friendly, helpful and the air is clean...that's not the nature in SF where its crowded and it smells like a porta potty everywhere. We couldn't leave fast enough...however, we did enjoy our visit to Alcatraz.
