A Nice Hotel to Stay

Although the building is old, the overall atmosphere is very comfortable. Staff are polite and helpful. It is surprised to have breakfast provided if you are able to wake up early enough and the 24-hour beverage bar is always a nice facility. The only disappointing item is that we couldn't take any one glass of free wine even though we had spent two nights there as free wine could only be provided between 5 to 6pm; how could we come back to take it in the middle of the day while travelling in the city? It is a little bit tricky.

The hotel was clean and fresh, and seemed like it had recently been redone.The rooms were clean, but small and a bit dated.Our room had no windows facing the outside, but I realized that the bathroom mirror was actually a window and when I opened it, it opened to a dirty part of the roof with no screen.The room wasn’t large, but we were only staying one night and it was clean and appropriate for what we needed it for, especially for the price we paid.One thing to note is that there wasn’t a switch to control the ceiling fan, so to access the ceiling fan, they had just a super long ceiling fan cord, which I kept bumping my head into.The hotel does offer valet parking for $58 per night, but there are not in and out privileges, and you cannot access your car at all once they have taken it until you are actually leaving.The lobby had coffee, tea and water available at all time, but the only hot water for tea comes from the coffee machine, so it tasted like coffee grounds.They did let us store our bags after checkout and we were able to leave our car with the valet a little bit past checkout as well. They don't have a bathroom in the lobby.When I asked to use the restroom after we had checked out, they said I could go to the hotel next-door. I was able to use the bathroom in that hotel, but the hotel next-door is very rundown and the bathroom was not very clean , so it was a bummer to have to use that one. Overall this was a cheap but clean enough place for one night.

The hotel is on Post St, safe during the AM hours; not to venture out at night. Limited parking on the street; had to use a garage a block down. You take a chance parking at night and walking back to your hotel. I was accosted by an idiot demanding money; I "convinced" him that his request was not going to happen. I will leave it at that. The room was small; a queen size bed filled the bedroom area; no space for anything else. All our clothes went into the closet and shelves; no dresser; suitcases on the floor near the bed. The bathroom was worse. Too small and only for 1 person; not good if you're "large or heavy" as you can't maneuver around and sit down on the toilet as it is right next to the sink. And our toilet plugged up on the 1st day and had to call in a plumber. The mattress was hard and left both of us with pains; my wife in her hip, me in my back. The positive is the staff; courteous & helpful. We won't be returning to this hotel, even with the great staff. Ok if it's for 1 person, but not recommended for elderly, or with physically handicapped.

I stayed here for a night, the room was clean and smelled nice. The bed was a bit hard for my liking, but my partner didn’t mind it. They have a very nice coffee machine. I would consider staying here again for the deal that I got it at.

The staff was so helpful. The room was clean and cozy. Loved the little elevator. The location was great and close to multiple types of public transportation. Would definitely stay there again and eat at the connected restaurant. The soup was delicious.

The property was better than I expected although I did find someone's socks hanging in the shower. Breakfast was subpar; donuts and oranges. Thankfully there are plenty wonderful spots to eat within walking distance.
