The hotel was amazing in every way: super clean, the staff was always happy to help, the breakfast buffet had great options and delicious food as well! The location was as good as everything else. Very satisfied and happy to have stayed there! We will definitely be back!

Incredibly beautiful and well maintained hotel. We loved the vibe and our room was spacious, clean and very well lit! The 1 small critique we had was our water couldn’t get very cold, but that is a very minor detail in an overall exceptional stay.
The bar had great happy hour deals and all the staff were super friendly. A bit out of the way but if you don’t mind walking, it’s really nice to be slightly removed from the craziness of the city centre. I would absolutely stay again and hope to get the opportunity to visit Ruby Bea’s other properties one day!

Let me start by saying that the only big flaw with this hotel is the room design. Our first room had a sewer stench as soon as you walked in. The shower stall wasn’t sealed and the entire floor flooded after every shower unless you pointed the shower head at just the right angle. The staff very kindly changed our room once we mentioned the odor. The second room was so poorly designed that the TV was half on the wall, and half covering the window, crooked, and looked very unstable. The outlets were BEHIND the bed so that we had to pull the bed away from the wall to charge our devices. There were no drawers nor enough space to put clothes away. The full length mirror couldn’t be used unless you tied up the drapes as they were half covering the mirror.
But the staff and service were truly amazing. They went out of their way to accommodate our every request. This review should in no way reflect the dedication and professionalism of the staff of The Social Hub, Lavalign.
