Just right

This place was awesome. We stayed in the end room, it had a patio that overlooked the kitchen. Loved the atmosphere and location. Breakfast was a nice bonus. Beds were a bit on the firm side and the building is older, but adequate. Loved it!

Hôtel bon rapport qualité/prix et bien situe

Arrivee tardive et très bon accueil. Hôtel bien situé avec parking fermé. Le centre ville est accessible à pied sans problème. Le confort de la chambre est moyen mais bon rapport qualité prix. Le petit dejeuner est correct avec à la demande œufs, riz, haricots rouges....fruits disponibles (banane, pastèque) pain, beurre, confiture et bien sûr café.

Nice Place. I would recommend.

First of all. Hotel staff is really nice. Front desk staff and the restaurant folks are great. Juan Carlos has been there a long time and very nice to talk to. He will call you to wake you up to remember breakfast. Breakfast is a nice typical Costa Rican breakfast. Juice / Coffee / Tea along with Rice and eggs. Does the trick. Room's are basic, but kept clean as you can for an older hotel. It is a smaller place and rooms are on two floors down two long hallways. So if you are sensitive to noise, make sure you have ear plugs. Pricing is very fair. I was traveling alone, but when I was there, most of the the other guests were traveling together from Europe. Great value for money. If you are not super sensitive to thin walls, all good. I would return.

La localisation de l'hôtel est très bien. Nous sommes partis à pied pour visiter la ville. Le personnel de l'hôtel était tres gentil et nous a aidé à Planifier notre trajet pour visiter ce que nous voulions voir. L'hôtel est vieux et notre chambre était vraiment laide sans charme.

cheap and comforts.

We chose this hotel because we needed a cheap hotel for 1 night before we drove to our vacation house. Our expectations were low due to the price( $70 for a family of 5). I was pleasantly surprised with the room and the friendly staff. The breakfast was decent and also included cooked to order eggs. This is not a Marriott but it is a decent hotel for the price if your stick in San Jose for the night.

Overall pretty good! The $40 deposit for the TV remote was strange and unsettling. If I was going to steal a TV remote, why not just steal the flatscreen TV that went with it and wasn't even bolted down to anything?

Safe hotel near Central San Jose

Reception was amazing- thoughtful and helpful. It was welcoming and safe. Hotel was about a 20 minute walk to anything and everything of interest in San Jose. And we felt safe doing it (single mom with 3 kids aged 9, 7 and 5). Lots of food choices nearby. Hotel also has restaurant, but it was pricey and limited in its Costa Rican food. Definitely recommend!

empecemos porque el cocinero/mesero del restaurante me robo el celular, digo me robo porque el era el único limpiando mesas y nosotros fuimos los únicos en bajar a desayunar a esa hora. Salimos del restaurante y el cerro la puerta pues ya no había nadie para desayunar. caminé hacia el zoologico 6 cuadras y al querer tomar la 1ra foto (no traia el celular) regresamos y continuaba cerrado, se comunicaron con el y de una vez dijo el traia el telefono con el y se lo llevó al salir jajajaj si que se fijo bien,ademas que le deje propina y todo se quedo con mi celular (lo que mas me pesa son los contactos que aun no tenia respaldados) un celular se repone pero conseguir los contactos es difícil. El hotel es un poco incomodo desde su ubicación hasta la molestia de escuchar los pasos de las personas al caminar por el tambo, pero que puede pedir uno por el precio que cobran (en el momento crei que era la mejor opción por el precio, pero al perder mi celular de esa manera tan absurda (cosas de minutos) ya me salio como si hubiese comprado una habitación en Hilton. De ahi el dicho que LO BARATO SALE CARO. Si se quedan ahí cuiden sus pertenecías, sobre todo en el restaurante.
