Breakfast was good. Standard gallo pinto and eggs with toast and fruit. Room was as described on FB. Pillows were lumpy and bed was hard but still got good nights rest. Pool is small but clean and refreshing with great city view. Hotel is off the beaten path. Nothing is very close as far as restaurants and grocery options. Hotel is at the top of steep busy road without sidewalks and all options are at the bottom of the hill but Ubers were plentiful. Very quiet basic place to stay. No bar or restaurant on site. Plenty of friendly cats though. Would stay again

Hotel is beautiful, clean, pool and common areas are very neat. View of the city from the hotel and pool are amazing. Location feels safe and quiet. The location is a bit far from the airport and central San José. I wish the staff would have been more courteous and welcoming and the breakfast could have been a bit better.

The stay was flawless, but if I would have had more info on the place I probably would have elected to stay in a chain hotel instead. I was not aware that the property was locked up 100% of the time. We had very early days, and sometimes late evenings. This made us not want to leave repeatably throughout the evening because we didn’t want to be a bother. The gate had to be unlocked and locked every I time we came and left. The property itself was decent. With the amount of “security” stressed in the perimeter of the hotel the doors and walls were very thin. You could hear everything surrounding your room. We lost complete water on the day we left. We wound up having no problems but highly anxious throughout the week.
