"Amazing hidden gem! Staff on site were so friendly and hospitable. The location feels so remote in the best way. Hot tub and pool were nice and the rooms!!! The rooms felt more than just a hotel room tons of space for us 4 girls. Felt like a luxury stay can’t wait to come back again"
"It was probably the best stay we have ever had. It is a well-maintained older property with a wonderful history. Check in was super easy (easiest we have ever done), staff was friendly and helpful (great advice on local eateries), parking was easy and close to the room. During our stay, they offered a bag and go type breakfast that had a fantastic choice of items. The bed was the best we have ever found in a hotel/motel (and equal to ours at home), which was greatly appreciated with our back problems. They have planned upgrades coming, so hopefully our travels will take us back to this gem in the future. Thanks for a fantastic stay."
"Had a lovely 1 night stay here. Room was large and had all we needed. Beds very comfy and shower nice and powerful and hot. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment. Staff were friendly and very nice. Would stay again."
"Mixed pros/cons:Pros: Great communication from host, very nice to have washing machine/laundry detergent, propane grill and coffee provided. Very quiet at night and check in was easy. Very nice patio view.Cons: Unpleasant smell - we don't know if from the A/C window unit, previous dog guests, or what but the property had an unpleasant smell. It was grubby clean. While the the sinks, toilet, bed sheets, and carpets were clean things beyond the basics were not clean. Some examples are finding dirty dishes/silverware mixed in (at check out guests are to clean the dishes and put them away and not everyone washes well), grubby tv remote, curdled creamer (I tried 10 different little creamers and all were chunky), and whatever was causing the smell. Tips: Bluff Fort (3 minute drive) shares the amazing story of the Hole in the Rock Expedition. Those people were tough! Free admission. The nearest grocery store is Blanding (about 25 miles) so be sure to stock up before you arrive."
"Everything!!! This was a fun place to stay with tastefully decorated rooms that fit the surrounding countryside. The rooms were very clean & comfortable with a small patio outside of each room. The complimentary breakfast was excellent with homemade gluten free muffins, fresh fruit, homemade granola, homemade yogurt, homemade bread, farm fresh eggs, & delicious sausage or bacon. There is a beautiful covered patio in back of the lobby with hummingbird feeders that you can enjoy while you have your breakfast. There is a nice outdoor sitting area in front of the office with beautiful flowers. It was a relaxing place to stay with very helpful & friendly staff. We would recommend this place to everyone."
