「An oasis in South Austin」

「The house has been painted, so we were a little confused when our GPS told us we arrived, but other than that, the house was exactly as described, cozy, but perfect for our needs. Water pressure in the shower was great! Towels were bath sheets, so large! We used the second bed to fluff out the wedding dress after we steamed it - worked PERFECT! There is a nice, short table in the second bedroom for our luggage. Kept it out of the way. That was nice. The cottage still has its’s vintage charm!」

「Parking was pretty narrow at the Ruth and under and around a lot of trees. Toilet had hardly any water flow to refill the tank and made it difficult to use with two people.Guest policy would prevent me from using this property unless we could get approval. Family lives close by and to be hit with a 500 fine to have them stop by for a visit would be a problem. There was a BBQ, Picnic Table and numerous outside chairs but no visitor could sit in them - weird. Overall the property met our needs...

The Phyllis Cabin smoothed out the wrinkles of hardship and helped us focus on the joy of the future. We felt privileged to find home in the Hill Country and can’t wait to come back!」
