Lovely place
Great location to visit our college student at UC-San Marcos. About 45 minute drive to San Diego. Close to grocery stores and restaurants. Beds were so comfortable! Shower was fantastic. Loved having laundry. Back patio was so nice! Perfect size for the 4 of us.

Mixed feelings
The property was clean and kitchen was well furnished. Plenty of clean towels and everything that was needed. But The propane tank on the outdoor grill ran out of gas after about 15 minutes of cooking and there was no spare tank on site. I texted the host at 6:25 pm and didn't receive a response until 10:17 pm. after a short back and forth explaining how I knew the tank was empty I was asked if the team could have access if needed I was then told at 10:47 pm "We will keep you posted. If you need anything else in the meantime, please don't hesitate to let us know. Have a good evening!" At 3:20 pm the next day after spending the day out we returned to find that the tank had not been replaced and sent a text to inform the host. At 7:46 pm I received this "I’m really sorry about that! I can imagine how disappointing it must be, especially when you were planning to use the grill tonight. I’ll make sure someone takes care of the propane tank ASAP. Thanks so much for your patience, and I really appreciate you letting me know! Due to the lateness of this response we had to make other dinner plans. Finally when we returned at 9:47 pm a new tank was waiting at the front door.We were very pleased with the accommodations but the way the situation with the propane tank was handled and the lack of urgency with the response was disappointing.

Cute cottage
Cute little cottage with beautiful outdoor area and very well equipped. Did not appreciate our check in time moved later day of, nor having the gardener there using strimmer and blower until 6:30pm meaning we couldn’t use the beautiful garden to sit and have a drink before the sun went down.
