Island Paradise

We completely enjoyed the people, the property, and the beautiful location! It was such a peaceful hideaway from the busyness of San Pedro but still walkable to a convenient grocery store and sever great restaurants.

Lovely Caribbean Setting

Caribe Island Resort is not the fanciest but it offers so much Caribbean charm and is very well maintained, and the sea views are just wonderful. Our concierge was extremely helpful and attentive and house/groundskeepers work very hard to keep everything in n tip top condition. The property is a little south of town, so very quiet. There are several restaurants and food stands and a small market very nearby and San Pedro is a quick golf cart ride away. We would definitely book again.

Quiet way to be in San Pedro

The apartment is really perfect with an indoor/outdoor feel, a very good bed with great pillows in a dark bedroom, a well-supplied kitchen for preparing full meals (just an oven lacking), a lovely view of the pool and sea and a convenient floor-plan. I loved being there for over two weeks, relaxing, swimming and going to town on rare occasion. But that's me. A golf cart would be good if you're into moving about a lot or getting to different restaurants, but I found rides back and forth to town offered when I needed them. The corner store near the complex has a friendly staff and provides all the basics, and the Caribbean Chicken grocer and fruti/vegetable stands about a half a mile away work well. I played trivia one Wednesday night at the nearby Tex-Mex pub, which was welcoming and a lot of fun. I recommend the condo highly.

Great location, amazing view

Great property, great views, great company next door for excursions (spear fishing and snorkeling). Very nice staff and loved the security being there so we felt safe every night. Hot water is not great for the shower (warm showers, only about 30 seconds of hot), guessing a very small hot water heater. Other than the cool showers everything was amazing!

Great Location

The location was the perfect distance away from down town so a golf cart is a must. The AC was not working properly but the staff was very responsive to trying to fix it. Overall, a nice place to stay. Please remember this is Belize not Cancun and expectations should be adjusted.
