We had a wonderful experience at Reef Haven. The swim-up bar was delightful. The pools were amazing, lots of space to relax. The staff were wonderful, polite and accommodating.

The sargassum infestation made this a complete waste of money. Most people plan trips 6 months in advance, like I did. This was a complete waste of money. There were at most 5 people at the property, no one gave us the word or a gigantic discount for this trip. Many lessons learned. The biggest is that I will never use Expedia again. Back to Costco Travel. They know how to treat their customers.

This was a margaritaville property until Dec of 25. The resort was clean the food was decent but the menus could have offered more options or maybe a daily special. For all inclusive the food options were lacking. Our room was great oceanfront suite. The beach was full of sea weed but the hotel had guys out there every day removing it. They just couldn’t beat Mother Nature though. The stall was very accommodating.

We chose this resort due to amenities offered for the whole family, and its location away from mainland. It was the best choice for us - the spa was heavenly with a couple treatments & massages for my husband and me, the whole staff was excellent (especially Captain Mario and Angelita at the restaurant), our room was clean & spacious with great views and we loved the pools. Food was perfectly made, decadent and refreshing options - my favorite was the lomo and french toast & chilaquiles with themed menu and drinks every night. Kids loved the pool and fun activities staff planned every day.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was amazing and the location was gorgeous! The food and drinks were also great! We were really frustrated because the Expedia listing said the resort had tennis courts which it does not! They also do not have bicycles as the website claims.

My wife is in a wheelchair and we could not have navigated the beach sand or loading on/off the boats without their assistance. We lived in Hawaii for 10 years only in retirement have we actually took time to slow down and relax. Best vacation ever. Crystal clear waters. Staff that becomes family. Good food, drinks, and song. Neat resort away from everything. Nicely remodeled. The staff is the nicest and most attentive I have ever seen. Food was very good considering everything came from one kitchen. A great relaxing experience. If you want no crowds, and like to snorkel, fish, or just relax around a pool this is your place. The boat ride from town to the resort was 30 min each way but we loved it!
