“It was a beautiful home. However, it is supposed to be on the lake, and there was no water within 1/2 a mile due to the extremely low lake levels (not their fault). However, it advertised a hot tub, but the hot tub was drained and not usable, and that was one of the reasons we chose this place. I was disappointed with that. “Very nice. Clean. Easy to find. Beautiful addition and character. Wi-Fi was a bit troublesome but worked. We loved the old original floors and the squeak in the master bedroom. Kitchen was very nice and decorated well. First hot shower had sulfur smell which is not uncommon with electric water heaters and well water that sit sometimes. Subsequent showers it was much better. “Everything was clean and ready for us as soon as we got there . Judy was amazing and attentive . I was on crutches, but she was super accommodating the entire trip. “I'm conflicted on this review - the property was clean and with lots of sundries and supplies, beds were great, firepiit nice, no complaints, overall very good. However, with the lake withdrawn for years around a half mile from the house, this was not even close to waterfront pic they proudly show on the site. Yes, there was a clear disclaimer in the text, so no bait and switch, but leaving the photo up today with the lake down for years, then placing the disclaimer in to avoid liability, well……

“This property was amazing. When they say fully stocked they werent kidding. Coffee maker. Tons of silverware, plates, cups, wine glasses, shot glasses, measuring spoons and cups, knives, towels, etc. Property owner was very friendly. Read previous reviews of uncomfortable beds and couches and this was not the case. Couches were great even had throw blankets on them. Only thing to make the stay better would be the water levels for the lake to be up. But out of anybodys control and was mentioned……
