Brilliant Beachfront Apartment with Super Sunset views in Xlendi Bay, Gozo Malta

"Fantastic apartment in a prime position in Xlendi. The best equipped apartment we've rented - there was nothing we needed to provide except food! Loads of towels (including beach towels), deckchairs, snorkelling kit, beach mats, umbrella,pool noodles, games, shower gel, shampoo, washing powder, proper hair dryer, food basics including tea & coffee etc. etc. Air con was also included in the price and the washing machine & tumble dryer in the apartment kept the 'back home' washing to a minimum.The location is excellent - just over the road from the sea and a bus stop to Victoria a couple of minutes walk away. Great choice of places to eat and drink on the doorstep.Communication from the host was excellent from start to finish - Frank provided loads of information for things to do and was always available at the end of the phone if needed.We had a fabulous time and are missing our breakfasts on the balcony already - thoroughly recommend this property if you're considering staying in Xlendi!"

"The only reason the property got a 4 was the need to sweep up stone dust, more so than any other. Other than that the property and pool were excellent and as advertised. I can highly recommend it and the host for his attentive but not intrusive help. Ideally suited for sea swimming and shopping for food stuffs, ( a necessity of life when self catering). Worth a stay."

"This is a beautiful property! Lots of space, well furnished, and everything was easy. We would have liked to know in advance exactly where it was, because we felt a little lost without that as we approached Kercem, but with Maria's directions we got there no problem in the end. If you dislike heat an plan to go in the middle of summer, read on: The AC was only in the main bedroom and on a coin meter (we didn't try it because there was a great fan). However, do know that old farmhouses aren't built to stay entirely cool in 100 F degree weather. It reached 109 (43ish) when we were there. Without AC throughout the house, it was hot! But that was unseasonable weather. The fans did some good work, but it was still hot. When you choose this age of house, this is what you get :-) Also, if you go in July, be prepared for fireworks **night and day** as the island's villages celebrate their festivals. Not the time to visit if you can't tolerate lots of booms and shaking morning and night (a lot at night, and from 8am onwards). Again, not a problem with the property--the house was great! But important to know nonetheless."

"This unit is in a great position just like the picture. The unit was spacious & very clean. Convenient to restaurants and the beach. Parking was easy to find & not far from the unit. All in all a very satisfactory stay. Thank you."

"Apartment was roomy, furnished tastefully and had two terraces at front and back of property. There was also a communal roof terrace which was a nice bonus. It was ideally situated being close to sea front including restaurants and bars and next to supermarket. Travel was easy with bus stop opposite. There wee handy tips in the apartment regarding travel and eating out."

"Our stay was very comfortable and just what we needed after 4 nights in busy Valletta. The peace and quiet was amazing. The pool relaxing, the room clean, spacious, comfortable, good air conditioning and good shower facilities. The bin was broken, that should be replaced. There wasn’t enough staff to adequately serve breakfast to guests. Orders were taken from everyone first. Complementary pastries, toast and meats were served but the wait for any drinks was sometimes 20 mins, as again, they were prepared and served by the same person all at the same time. This was not efficient. Guests were waiting too long for things. The lunch and dinner options were excellent and very tasty. Thank you"
