“This was my favorite place on our 2 week road trip! It had all that we needed and more. We stayed 2 nights, and I would definitely stay here again! No complaints about the property itself. The 2 restaurants in the area were both fabulous, and the quaint atmosphere of Sekiu, a fishing harbor, was awesome! My only complaint is the wording used in 2 messages we had received from the property one and two days before arriving. Both messages stated that our “card was unable to be processed”, and a……

“直接靠海，就在码头边上，位置很好，可以方便去海钓。值得前往度假。但是唯一缺点wifi太差，不过反过来度假似乎不需要wifi，要远离城市。除此之外都还可以。。。。”

“2 adults and one senior pup . We absolutely loved this little slice of heaven . Close to town but yet far enough away from the every day noise of the city . Little Micro brewery down the road , lots of little hiking trails close by . Poirier Lake was a super cute find with a little fishing dock !”

“Beautiful private property. We felt like we were in the woods, not just the back of someones property. The fireplace inside was lovely as was the propane firepit and hot tub. We did all our cooking inside - huge fridge and lots of kitchen space. The bed was super comfy. We even watched the hockey game... we werent expecting to be able to do that. We explored China Beach and french beach, and the local beaches too as well as Sooke. Thanks Ian and Jodi for being great hosts ❤️”

“We had a wonderful stay in the Rowan Cottage. Spectacular views from every window in the home. Rooms were very well sized and the beds were comfortable. Travelling with a baby we really appreciated the black out curtains. The kitchen was well stocked with the necessities. We loved all the beautiful outdoor seating areas. The grounds were very well kept and we had fun exploring the beaches. We will be back and we will stay longer! Amy”

“Nice little property in a great fishing town. If you don't have an RV, there's not many places to stay. The rooms are small and parking is tight, but you can't beat the location.”

“Sekiu economy is largely based on sport fishing. It’s seasonal. Early reservations suggested ahead of seasonal openings is recommended. The facilities are adequate for one or more nights for a short visit.”
