"Fabulous little place, in an idyllic location. Whilst the accommodation is basic, it is charming and has everything you need....including kitchen and bathroom facilities. The addition of horses, pigs, and chickens and ducks on site was a bonus, and being greeted by the farm dogs every day was lovely. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating (we had to change our dates at the last moment) and are really friendly. Definitely looking forward to staying again."

"The horses cab was very cute and well designed, spotless and cosy.Very relaxing place, the views of waking upIn the morning with the horses are amazing. Also have pigs, a little pony that is very friendly and trots around in the open. Owners were friendly polite and very helpful on call with anything you needed help with. Even had a lovely wood fire whilst watching the stars. Recommend highly for a relaxing weekend break. Will be going back forSure. Thank you"

When I arrived I couldn't get hold of the owner as he wasn't answering his phone and didn't have the curtesy to reply to the several messages I left, both in the form of answer phone and text. I had to contact Hotels.com via the online chat. Eventually one of the owners employees phoned me and said he would come and let me in. Once in the property, things didn't really improve. "I would have given it excellent as the hotel and room were lovely - clean, modern, spacious and comfortable, except we were kept awake all night with a constant banging and rattling from somewhere - room 408. The breakfast luckily we didn’t have to pay extra for was not great - it was cold, overcooked and half the dishes were empty - had to ask for juice and several items - for the look and design of the hotel which was lovely the breakfast really let it down - if we have had to pay extra we definitely would have complained !"
