We love staying at Talus Rock. It is our 'go to' place when we are in Sandpoint. We also love referring family and friends here.

Beautiful converted home to fabulous and unique rooms. Property is superbly decorated in eclectic and rustic style befitting the fabulous grounds amid secluded treed landscape including pond and waterfall. Only negative was a very poorly draining sink. Would totally recommend staying here!

My grievance is with Expedia, as it should do more due diligence when it comes to there vendors being a certain criteria. This hotel claims to be a 4 star luxury retrest, at best it’s a bed and breakfast, minus the breakfast.

Fantastic property, basically in town (less than a mile). Easy parking and picturesque park like setting for beautiful pictures. The only downside is the many stairs. If you have trouble walking or in a wheel chair make sure to request a room on the ground floor. (No elevator). We can highly recommend this wonderful place.

This property was nothing like the pictures. I immediately regretted it when we pulled in. It’s creepy and desolate. I felt like I was invading someone else’s home. It was not welcoming at all. We ended up leaving and staying in town.

Wonderful. The only comment, and it’s minor, is that we would have appreciated some arrangements for breakfast. Coffee/tea and something to go along with it, as there is nothing in the immediate area available.
