“My family and I went to visit other nearby family and experience the eclipse. Grandchildren from aged 2 to 12. The home far exceeded expectations and we had a wonderful time. The home was immaculate and stocked with necessities. Open first floor allowed ample space for all. The porch, dock, barbeque, firepit were a huge plus. The kids enjoyed fishing and outdoor space and quiet street. The hostess was kind and attentive, answering every question or need to ensure a hugely successful long……

“This cottage is super cute with lots of charm. The inside was like something you would find in Country Living magazine with modern amenities. Lots of comfy seating provided in the living room to unwhind, games, smart tv, and a lovely sun room to sit in and relax. High end appliances in an updated kitchen. Lots of blankets to snuggle in when watching tv. Nice yard with picnic table under an immense ancient oak and a fire pit. Cottage is tastefully decorated and located on a tiny lane off a dead……

“We rented Cottage #1 for the 2024 solar eclipse and it was perfect! The unit had a beautiful view of the lake from both sleeping areas, was clean and quiet, and had everything we needed for our stay. The cottage was also beautifully decorated with so much attention to detail! During our stay we enjoyed painting some rocks for the property grounds, fishing from the canoe, and just relaxing around the fire. The only thing we would change is the length of our stay - we wish we stayed longer and……

“An inviting clean and lovely property. Perfect for a single person, couple, or in my case traveling with a grown son where we each had our own bed to sleep on. All the comforts of home with beautiful sunsets every night (weather permitting). The host very responsive to any inquiry. We rented off season so very quiet and the year rounders very friendly. “The place was absolutely perfect for us. So comfortable, super clean, and well-appointed. They have an amazingly stocked kitchen with every appliance you could need as well as so many kitchen staples. There are plenty of blankets, pillows, towels, toiletry items, the works, really! We spent our honeymoon here, watching the total solar eclipse, exploring Salmon River Falls, and enjoying the gorgeous dark night sky full of stars. Their hospitality is outstanding, they helped make this trip perfect……

“We enjoyed our stay very much, the cabin is cosy but adequate for four, even six people. The location and grounds make this a relaxing getaway, with grill and fire pit. There is a very beautiful river nearby which seems a popular fishing destination and the family and I walked down to see it. We were here, not for fishing, but to see the Great American Eclipse, and this place suited our small family just fine. Meals can be cooked if needed and the comfort and temperature was great.”

“We just completed our 3rd stay at magical Montario Point and this time we had the luxury of almost 2 weeks, as compared to previous 1 week stays. The house is just as described—with plenty of space and flexible sleeping space as well as a well -equipped kitchen, family room space and large eating porch (which also has 2 couches; LOVE to go out there early in the morning for the birds’ serenade). Mother Nature did not provide as much beach this year but enough for chairs /towels; There were also……
