Hurricane Ian vacation

Well we were lucky enough to be on vacation right when Hurricane Ian hit was on its way. Karen, our host, stayed in communication and kept us up to date on the path of the Hurricane and current updates for the property. She was just awesome. We were there long enough to enjoy one day at the beach and a great meal at the Sunset grill. We were able to book a flight out one day prior to evacuation. The property is beautiful. The condo is very clean, cozy and has all the comforts of home. The view in the morning is breathtaking. We did take a quick dip in the pool and hot tub and they were both lovely. It was sad to have to leave such a beautiful place, even sadder to see the destruction after the hurricane. Wishing a successful recovery to all on Sanibel. We will be waiting patiently to come back.

Wonderful experience!

The stay on Sanibel island was great! Check in/check out was super easy and convenient. The island life is quiet and very relaxing. Great food options close by! Highly recommend.

The Perfect Well Appointed Unit with Everything You Need For Enjoyable Vacation

Rented this unit to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary on Sanibel Island. Location at center of Island is perfect! Appointment of the unit was excellent with virtually everything you would need for an enjoyable location. Karen was a fantastic host!

Cannot say enough about this property and the owners. Fantastic communication with Karen. Very clean and well equipped . Great spot on the island easy to get to everywhere, hire a bike no need to use the car. All the beach equipment you need. Comfy bed. Feels like your own place not a rental. Will return!

A cozy beach place to relax and refresh

Property was well-maintained and staff were always taking care of grills, trash, etc. Met lots of nice families on the beach just a short walk from the room. The lanai was wonderful and the condo decor was beachy and tasteful. Kitchen was nice and beach chairs and umbrella was great. My only complaint was the A/C being loud and inconsistent between the bedroom and family room. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby to keep us entertained in the evenings. It was a nice week!

Never made it.

Due to last Saturday’s snafu at JetBlue’s Boston airport, we never made it. Spent over twelve hours at airport, took 3 cabs and spent over $200 for hotel. Flight cancelled and rebooked repeatedly for not available flights and departing from a different airport. Finally took hour and a half bus ride home and then another taxi. Host was able to rent a few days so received partial refund from very helpful owner.

We were so pleased with this condo ! It was very clean, with updated decor and a beautiful view of the beach. We were very surprised at the amenities provided for us-- coffee filters, tea bags, laundry soap, extra trash bags and an assortment of items in the bathroom for our use, if needed. The bathroom was beautiful and so functional with a separate toilet and shower area, freeing up the vanity area and preventing the mirror from getting all steamed up when the shower was used. We felt very pampered.

Delightful Location and Accomodations

This property was great! The unit itself was comfortable and well maintained. Pointe Santos is a beautiful complex on a great beach. The Sunsets and beach walks were the highlight of the vacation.

Paradise on Sanibel

The property was beautifully landscaped. It was like staying on a tropical paradise. I noticed daily maintenance on the grounds. Great being on the beach and withing walking distance to Bailey's General Store. The condo came with all the amenities you could possibly want.

Awesome Owner

Unfortunately due to construction delay we had to stay in a different condo. Owner secured another condo for our stay and it turned out to be very comfortable and suited our needs. We did walk over to Pointe Santo and the grounds are gorgeous! Karen kept us informed and tried very hard to help us stay at her condo. We will be back and we will definitely stay in Karen’s condo🌴 Loved Sanibel!

Extreamly clean, Helpful hostess

Karen did a great job helping us out. We had to reschedule our honeymoon thanks to Covid and she worked with us to find a date we were available to come down. The property itself is extreamly clean and well maintained. There are plenty of books, games, movies, music, and pool supplies to keep vacationers of any age entertained. The property is right next to a beautiful shelling beach and in close proximity to some amazing restaurants in town. All in all, hope we can come back. Thanks again for all you help Karen!

Great Time in Sanibel

The condo was as advertised and was perfect for the two of us. It is nicely furnished, well maintained and comfortable. The view from the balcony is amazing and we ate breakfast there every morning. We enjoyed our time at the beach in the furnished chairs and watching the local wildlife. Would definitely book here again if going to Sanibel.

This condo is beautiful! Fantastic views of the gulf. Condo is equipped with everything you need.

Condo was all it was advertised to be. Owner was fantastic to work with. Karen was super nice and there if you needed anything. 🙂 We wouldn't rent from anyone else!

Beautiful Island and Lovely Condo

We love this property. Beautiful room and nice view. Sanibel has so much to offer as well. Fabulous beaches, shelling, great restaurants and shopping and the gorgeous sunset. Ding Darling Nature Preserve always has something new and incredible to learn about when it comes to the plants and animals on the island. We never get tired of Sanibel’s beauty and recommend Point Santo.
