Santo Spirito, Bari is a surprisingly cute town with a very nice walk to the port. Quite glad we booked our room where we did. The town is expanding its waterfront with sitting areas, restaurants and bars. 」

「A gem of a hotel so close to the train station and a short walk to the main attractions in Bari. The staff really make the hotel a place you want to return to, so friendly and knowledgable. - 24hr Front Desk, which is very helpful and as a solo traveller, it made me feel safe and cared for. If anything is wrong, you only have to ask. I stayed in a Deluxe room (both stays), which had a terrace balcony. No pretty view, but quite nice to sit, take a drink and read, between exploring. The room...

「The service was great. We parked at the parking lot recommended by the hotel, and there was a free shuttle that took us to the hotel. We stayed in a separate room, which had a bit of a damp smell. The room was about a 5-minute walk from the reception and the breakfast/spa area — it took a few time to remember the route. But getting lost in Matera is also a kind of romance.」
