The refurbished rooms are lovely and spacious, sea view is a must, staff are super friendly at both reception and in the restaurant. The evening meals were high class, wasn’t expecting such good food, especially the squid, excellent.

Summer vibes

Very nice hotel. Old style and they are renovating the rooms. We had 210 with sea view and a small balcony. Huge bathroom 🤗 Comfy bed and felt brand new. Close to the beach and 5 min walk to the town center. We come back ☺️

Difficult to recommend .....

We had to change the room as the bathroom was smelly; the new room was much better but the bed was rather hard. The breakfast was poor, with limited choice and insufficient seating for all the guests. We booked through hotels.com where free parking was included but the hotel refused to honour it and we had to pay 16 Euros per day. Will not stay here again.

It was an impressive building and in its prime would have been spectacular. It appears they may be upgrading it but it certainly isn’t complete. Shabby in communal areas. Breakfast cold when should be hot. Staff friendly though. Would have been nice to have had a lift to the 5th floor where we were put. Clean room though when we had finally arrived. Maybe in the next couple of years it will have been brought back to the glory it has previously enjoyed

Noise transfer between guest rooms

A few disappoints with my stay. The first room offered had a broken air conditioner. Talked to the front desk and acknowledged it had been reported. Offered a new room with air. The shower was tiny and the wall clip for the hand held shower was broken. Showering was challenging. Walls are paper thin and heard even normal speech clearly from room next door. And older wooden floors meant I heard every footstep from room above. But housekeeping and breakfast staff were very friendly and the breakfast quite good and reasonably priced. But all considered I would not stay again.

Goed Hotel, kamers vooraan met zeezicht. Wel een steile helling naar het hotel te wandelen, wanneer men te voet is. Ontbijt is redelijk, mits altijd een of twee cappuccino's te vragen, en om 7h30 gaan ontbijten, want grote groepen plunderen het buffet in no time helemaal leeg !… Bijvullen gebeurde niet
