Don Mauricio y Marlon nos atendieron con excelencia. nos ayudaron a organisarnos mejor para la escalada de los volcanes. pequena sugerencia - debido a el area remota en que se encuentran unas maquinas dispensadoras de aperitivos, gaseosas, agua, y especialmente de cafe fueran excelentes para cuando ya todo cierra o para cuando uno se levante muy temprano y aun no abren.

OK i get it! This beautiful place is a love letter to El Salvador. Saying that it is beautiful is not even enough. Tjere are details that are si majestic and well thought out. Este hotel tiene 2 cosas muy buenas: la ubicacion con vistavextrordinariaval lago, y la comida buena aunque cara. Pero la construccion, el equipamiento de las habitaciones, los materiales utilizados, todo parece un poco 'cheap', como la ducha electrica, el lavamano de 50cm sin ningun estante para colocar sus cosas, nada de armario ni de colgar su ropa, ni de poner su maleta... Lastima pero se puede mejorar facilmente!

Mixed feelings about this stay. The property and room are beautiful, but the experience felt disappointing for the price. We didn’t know the restaurant is closed on Mondays, which was difficult because the property is quite remote and we had delayed picking up our rental car, assuming we could dine there. The owner messaged beforehand asking if we’d like to eat dinner there, but when I asked to reserve a table I was told the restaurant would actually be closed that day and will only serve drinks for the night. He did offer to help arrange food or give us a ride, which I appreciated, but we ended up walking to the restaurant ourselves. When we returned around 8 pm the property was completely dark and the restaurant was closed and we ran out of drinking water at this point. For such a beautiful property, it would be nice if the outdoor area stayed accessible with lights or seating for guests in the evening. The room also lacked some basic amenities (no mini fridge, no drinking water, and all lights on one switch which made the room very bright at night). The curtains also didn’t fully cover the window, which affected privacy. Breakfast the next morning was excellent and the chef explaining the dishes was a lovely touch. But at checkout the staff inspected towels and blankets in front of us for stains, which felt unusual and uncomfortable. Overall, a lovely property but the guest experience could be improved.

This is such a beautiful place to stay. The view is breathtaking. However, the rooms where my family and I stayed were not as clean. There were dead bugs along the window ledge. The night stands had dust. The bedsheets in one of the rooms had hair in them, and I also found a dead bug in the bed by the pillow. The worst part of it all was the shower. They gave me a room with a broken showerhead, and when I found out, the staff had not arrived yet and I needed to get ready for my next destination. Thankfully, the rest of my family members had a room too, and my daughter and I were able to shower. When the issue was brought up to the manager, Mauricio, he asked for the room keys to take a look, but it was useless since I was going to check out shortly. I didn't like that he didn’t apologize at all for the inconvenience. I had to ask him if he could compensate me for part of my stay because of the issue, and all he said was that he could give the people staying in that room a free breakfast. I didn’t like his attitude as it was not apologetic at all. Stay here at your own risk!
