"The pictures were definitely misleading and shot with a wide angle camera and maybe a bit of touch up. The room was small, dim and definitely did not have the "retro" vibe the pictures are going for. The staff at check-in wasnt rude, but definitely not friendly either. Our biggest issue was with the noise level. None of our neighbors were exessive loud, but the walls and floors were paper thin and we could hear everything, steps, TV and coversations. We had a hard time falling asleep even with earplugs. If this was some kind of cheap motel I would not be upset, however for the price we expected a LOT more. "

"Staff was very standoffish. Bathroom was dirty. Generally not my usual experience with Hyatt as I am usually a frequent Hyatt user. Also extremely noisy throughout the day."

"We got a room on the ground floor by the pool, it was very dark even during daytime. It’s not well noise insulated and we could heard the people above walking and dropping stuff. Our room was near a spotlight outside that was reflecting inside the room all night. Beside that the pool was nice but missing a jacuzzi and the garden was pretty. Restaurant looks nice and staff was friendly and helpful. Perhaps best to stay on top floor next time!"

"The space was wonderful! Mindy showed us around when we arrived and left us a bottle of wine and a lemon from her garden! It was so nice to spend time in a more residential part of SB. The mountain views were beautiful and it was sooo nice to return to such a quiet space after a busy day exploring downtown. We’ll be back!"

"Very clean and comfortable. Front desk was so helpful and kind. Only comment - and I admit to being very sensitive to the feel of materials on my skin. The sheets were not soft. Everything was clean. Loved the location. "
