This was the second time we stayed at this home. It was just as delightful as before! The house was well equipped, excellent location - easy on/off freeways, lots of fun places nearby, easy to find, parking a breeze - and extremely comfortable. We had plenty of soft, easy places to read and watch the birds outside. Very quiet neighborhood. Check in was hassle free. We'll be back again next year!

A sweet little cottage in a quiet neighborhood, close to everything you might like to do in Montecito or downtown Santa Barbara. All was ready for us when we arrived, so we felt welcomed. We visited the nearby Our Lady of Carmel Catholic Church. Beautiful! We could hear the church bells from the cottage, which was lovely. Montecito is charming, but would be more accessible on foot if there were more sidewalks. Bus 14 runs from the bus stop at the church and is a nice way to get around if you have the time. We would stay here again and have no problem recommending the cottage. Thank you for hosting us!

Beautifully and tastefully appointed cottage. It had all the necessary accoutrements for a rental. The outdoor space is large and comfortable.Would stay again!

Quiet, ample room for three of us, good location, weather was warm and muggy and so was the interior of the cottage despite numerous fans. Air conditioning is needed during warm weather. Bed linens on twin beds were shabby, overly washed and not inviting. The bedroom with the twin beds seemed to be designed especially for kids which was not mentioned on the description. Cottage lacked full length mirror and mirror in kids' room. Kitchen was fully packed with necessary items and clean. Bathroom had several spiders on the floor at times plus the lower wall had a hole and needed to be fixed. All and all it was acceptable but needs updating and air.

The cottage had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in the SB area. Great location...easy access to Montecito; various beaches in Summerland, SB, Montecito, Ledbetter; and Santa Barbara/State St area. Pat was very responsive and an extremely gracious host, making our stay even more enjoyable!

Sweet little cottage, comfortable for four adults. Everything was clean and ready for us, and we were very comfortable. I was worried about parking the car, but my ordinary sedan fit in the drive with no trouble. We felt safe and relaxed here. (Listing didn’t mention an iron and board but it was there when we needed it!) I can’t think of a thing to improve.

Hedgerow heaven!

Must be our fourth or fifth day at this property. Consistently clean, quiet and convenient.Lovely neighborhood. Wonderfully available and accommodating host.

We really enjoyed our stay except for the gardeners 3 hour tree trimming and his blower that was quite disruptive. The neighbors dog barking that went on for 5 hours into the evening on out last night there also put a damper on our visit. This is a very cute cottage style property with several other cottages surrounding it. If not for the above 2 issues, we would give it 5 stars.

Graduation celebration

We love the Montecito area and the proximity to wonderful restaurants right down the street. Loved the high ceilings and cute patio which made the cottage feel spacious. It was charming and well appointed! I would absolutely come back to stay here again!

Gorgeous cottage, super clean, beautifully decorated, extra comfortable, lovely private outdoor spaces. Just an excellent base in the SB area for 3 family members meeting up for a long weekend. There are no cons. There is a sweet little market/coffee spot down the road (a short drive). The owner was responsive and very helpful. This is a great spot.

Surprised there are any dates available for this five star cottage! Amazing location near Westmont College for graduation as well as year round visits in stunning Montecito…family rented two other properties from owner on same street (also five stars). We plan to return for more occasions - made extra special with a stylish, comfortable, clean and welcoming home away from home.

Charming Montecito Cottage

We enjoyed our second stay at this charming cottage during March 2025. Our host Pat was terrific as always - great communication, responsiveness, and hospitality. The property is attractively designed, well provisioned, and clean. The location is excellent providing a beautiful and peaceful retreat while also being conveniently located for enjoying mountain trails, beaches, and other attractions.

Montecito Perfectiom

Perfect property for a restorative weekend. Distant church bells, gentle ocean breezes and bird sounds in the trees. What could be more calming and relaxing? This property is luxurious in every way. Like staying at a five star hotel at a fraction of the cost. We will definitely be back!

Perfect to get away from everything!

This cottage is perfect! On a quiet street, close to a great morning coffee stop, easy to get to freeways, downtown, etc. The amenities in the cottage were stellar! The kitchen had tons of fun surprises, the bathroom was clean, the beds were comfy and the living room was relaxing. The furniture, the rooms, the garden were all sized to make relaxing, watching TV or simply reading inside or out were a true pleasure. The outdoor area was delightful to have a glass of wine in the evening, rest up before going out to dinner, or a quiet cup of coffee in the morning listening to the birds. Pat, the owner, is accommodating, very responsive so is easy to work with. I especially appreciate her anticipation of guests needs when staying at the cottage, as she thought of everything, and then some! We'll be returning again next year.
