"Room was not super clean and there was black hairs all over. My son also left a stuffed animal in the room when we called to verify and have the staff look for it they where not helpful and said they not find it when I know for sure it was left in the room. They stole it for sure which is very disappointing. As far as what you get for the price is 5 stars on that but that’s all."

"At the last minute, I took a train from Orange County, CA to Santa Barbara to get away and reset. I found and booked/paid for this inn. I planned on a one night turn around trip; checking in late, getting sleep, doing morning activities, checking out, doing a few more things, then returning home. I also contemplated staying a 2nd night depending on the service I received at the inn upon my arrival. I checked in at 10 p.m. I asked for a 2 p.m. check-out instead of 12 p.m. Considering I got their so late, I expected they would allow this one tiny request but, they declined it. Based on that service, I did not book a 2nd night with them. It is what would be expected of a basic establishment with basic amenities. The place is clean. There was a hint of a funny smell. The queen bed was low quality; I could feel the springs. I do not know what the other hotels/inns are like but this one was a bit cheaper in price so maybe those offer more, not sure. There are a few rooms with direct view of the small harbor, not the ocean. For a direct view of the ocean, there are much better choices on that strip. There is a jacuzzi and pool; the pool is small and by the property driveway but, it is not a busy, driveway. Their continental breakfast was typical one. The morning staff was friendly and ensured there was plenty of food, and they were pleasant during my check-out."
