A wonderful place to stay!! From the continental breakfast to the happy hour, this hotel is terrific! The staff is so welcoming and accommodating, you feel like you are staying with friends. A quick walk to the beach, State street, and the harbor…you can leave your vehicle safely at the property. There is a full kitchen in the room, and each faces the open courtyard and pool area. I look forward to returning…my teenager loved the cookies too!

We spent our 40th anniversary here. Our room was great! We had a sitting area and the bed was so comfortable. We received a bottle of champagne. Their breakfast is wonderful. We were close to the beach and downtown! The staff is very friendly. The hotel has lush plants and flowers. Highly recommend!

Excellent Stay. We were pleasantly surprised with our stay here. The room was spotless and well-maintained, with a very comfortable bed and surprisingly quiet atmosphere for being near the freeway. The staff was incredibly friendly and made check-in a breeze. We really appreciated the complimentary breakfast in the morning and happy hour in the evening. The Wi-Fi was reasonable fast and reliable, which made catching up on emails and news convenient. The waterfront is within easy walking distance and they don’t charge extra for parking. We’ll definitely be staying here again on our next road trip!

Upon arrival 7:05 PM we were informed that the power will be cut from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM on the following day. Not hot water, or hot breakfast and the kitchen in the room will not support food we brought with us. The attendant offer us to cancel our booking, or to get a room at their sister hotel, we accepted to move to the other hotel, but after 30 minutes of trying, he informed us that there is no room for the two rooms in the other hotel for our entire stay. We then had to go through registration in the hotel. With the time wasted we lost a show we wanted to see. We showered at 5:45 AM the next morning. The manager eventually credited $50.00 per room. "We offered you the option to cancel your reservation when you arrived" he said.

The room was in as good a condition as it could be for one in need of some basic updating like tile and paint refreshing. Also, the carpet was filthy. I believe housekeeping just sweeps, not vacuums and they are very much in need of carpet cleaning or replacement. Also, I had to replace my key card twice and the times it actually worked required multiple swipes. It was nerve racking not knowing if I would be able to get back in every time I left. One time a maintenance person used their card to let me in, and the other time I had to go to the lobby in my PJs after thinking I could make a quick trip to my car for something I forgot. The housekeeping and desk staff were very helpful -- with the exception of the manager who was grumpy and rude. The grounds and hot tub/pool area are very well maintained.

I made the mistake of choosing this property (the “Inn”) and paying a huge premium, because it was one of the only ones I found with a kitchen and that didn’t allow pets While I adore pets, unfortunately I can’t stay at such places due to health reasons. Friends and family stayed elsewhere, at much lower pricing, and higher quality rooms. The Inn: dingy and old looking carpet, dingy feeling/dark rooms, cleanliness wasn’t great, a very noisy location. There were a few maintenance issues as well - a few ants here and there, even on the bed, the bathroom sink drain couldn’t be closed, the bedside lamp bulb would start flickering after a few minutes, etc. Also, while there was a stovetop, there was no oven or toaster oven. Seems that should have been specified in “kitchen” description. The staff was reasonably friendly. But when I wanted to talk to a manager about housekeeping having entered my room when I specifically asked that they NOT do so, no one could be found, and I never heard back from anyone. Unfortunately the property photo was also deceiving … it’s not nearly as nice or well maintained as the photo made it seem.

I booked this room for my wife and I for Valentine's Day based on the photos shown on expedia's website. When we arrived, the outside of the hotel looked nothing like the photos. Extremely deceiving and disappointing. The hotel appeared to be very Rundown and looked nothing as advertised. We did not bother to check in.
