The holiday home is located directly on the sea in a quiet location and is surrounded by a pretty garden. From the terrace you can enjoy a wonderful unobstructed sea view. All rooms (except kitchen and bathroom) have parquet flooring and are tastefully furnished. From the living room you have a magnificent view of the sea through a large sliding glass door. There are two newly renovated bathrooms, two bedrooms with double beds and one sleeping or TV room with a sofa bed. From the modern kitchen (incl. Dishwasher) one has also a splendid sea view.
The island offers exceptional hiking trails with alpine tours, jungle experiences and breathtaking views. Almost all tours are described in detail in the Rother hiking guide.
In about 5 min. Walking distance to the "Galo Resort - Hotel Galomar" with a excellent spa and sauna area. There is an extensive range of Ayurvedic treatments. There is also a beautifully landscaped rocky bay with swimming pool, a recommended restaurant with bar, as well as the diving school "Manta Diving" under langjaehriger German management.
The "Galo Resort Hotel Galomar" includes the Alpino Atlantico Ayurveda Hotel, which also offers yoga.
Also 5 min. by foot is the outdoor company Lokoloko (http://www.locolokomadeira.com/de/) with offers for mountain biking, canyoning, whale watching and swimming with dolphins, kayaking and much more.
Bus stops, grocery stores and restaurants are also within a few minutes walk.

Es waren wunderbare 10 Tage. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist einfach genial. Auch die Ruhe, die wir dort hatten, haben wir sehr genossen. Insgesamt ist das Haus sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation mit Hrn Bracht war freundlich und unkompliziert. Auch gab es etliche Aufenthaltstips. Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder.

Die absoluten Pluspunkte des Hauses sind seine Lage und die riesige Terrasse mit direktem Meerblick - unvergleichlich. Die Ausstattung ist ausreichend, zweckmäßig und vielseitig. Dass manches in die Jahre gekommen ist, schränkt den Gebrauch nicht ein.Wegen der Südlage genossen wir jetzt im Winter die Sonne, im Sommer wäre das für uns nur mit den Sonnenschirmen nicht machbar - hier fehlte uns echter Schatten, da der Gebäudevorsprung nur klein ist. Aber das ist natürlich individuell. Bezaubernd war auch die Ruhe, dadurch dass auf der einen Seite niemand wohnt (Renovierung) und die alte Dame auf der anderen Seite nicht wahrnehmbar war - sehr, sehr schön für uns. Wir behalten das Haus als Winterquartier auf jeden Fall im Kopf.

Der Ausblick von der Terrasse aufs Meer ist unbeschreiblich! Das Grundstück ist uneinsehbar und liegt entsprechend ruhig. Ausstattung ist sehr gut, alles notwendige und mehr ist vorhanden. Für mehrere Personen ist das zweite Bad etwas klein. Der Kontakt zum Eigentümer war hervorragend. Extrawünsche wurden unverzüglich erfüllt. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt!

The house is lovely and in a beautiful location right on the coast overlooking the ocean. Complete with sun loungers on the deck, and table & chairs to eat outside too. We were central for reaching the attractions we wanted to see such as the gardens and for walks, outdoor centre down the road if wanting to book activities, restaurants close by also.

Die Lage des Hauses und das geräumige Haus selbst sind sensationell und die sehr grosse Terrasse macht den Aufenthalt perfekt. In der ersten Januarwoche haben wir auf der Terrasse gefrühstückt und abends die Sonne im Meer versinken sehen. Das Auto konnten wir direkt vor der Tür parken.

Wir haben die Zeit in Madeira in vollen Zügen genossen. Die Terrasse ist das Highlight der Unterkunft. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und es waren genug Handtücher für unseren Aufenthalt vorhanden. Gefehlt hat uns persönlich nur die Waschmaschine :) .

Just Perfect

An absolutely wonderful place to stay. Max the host was really helpful and provided us with excellent information so it was easy to find. The villa was well equipped and very clean and homely. It was located in a very peaceful and quiet residential area. We spent most of our time, when at the villa, sitting on the decking and enjoying the amazing views. Such a relaxing holiday.

Es lohnt sich ...

Wie alle Gäste, die schon mal hier waren, können wir bestätigen, dass sich der Aufenthalt im Haus und auf der Insel lohnt. Die Lage ist optimal (übersichtlich und nicht überfüllt wie in Funchal). Es gibt einige nette und gute Lokale: Inn&Art, O Mohinho, A Trainera, Capoeira Bar ... auch in Funchal usw.. Das Wetter war super, nicht zu warm und die Luftfeuchtigkeit im Rahmen, keine Mücken. Es gibt übrigens Wettercams, falls es mal nicht gut sein sollte. Irgendwo scheint immer die Sonne.

Einer schöner Urlaub

Es war einer der schönsten Urlaubsorte an dehnen wir waren .Das Ferienhaus war sauber und gemütlich. Auch hat es die ideale Lage da es direkt an der Steilküste liegt und man einen ungestörten Blick auf den Ozean hat. Gern verbringen wir unser nächsten Madeiraurlaub wieder dort.

Super stay

The location is really great and so relaxed with the big terrace and seaview. The area is very quiet. Although you have to pay for the parking, we never had a parking problem and when you're away during the day and come back you just pay a little and automatically counts till the next morning. The house isn't big, but big enough as you mostly stay on the terrace. Kitchen had all you needed. Beds were very good. The contact with the host was very good, after mentioning something, we directly got a reply and was solved. 2 Good restaurants down the street at the hotels. Close to the airport and to Funchal. And a good stay to explore the whole beautiful island. We really enjoyed everything.
