“We stayed for 16 days in Verandas do Funchal. Apartment itself is on the ground floor and large and spacious. Pool is clean with staff cleaning every day. Security isn’t fantastic but this is down to owners not closing the gates properly. There is a very steep hill to walk to town. Anyone with mobility issues would struggle. We found it helped to keep us fit!”
