Gracious living from old Mallorca

A great spot to get a taste of manor life in this rural setting. Well located to explore the island. Host family is giving this ancestral place new life as an alternative to urban stays, with the possibility for group stays in various units. Nice pool and mature, well kept cactus garden. Good stay

Absolutely stunning

We stayed as a group of 5 in September and loved it so much. We had ample living space and room to cook and host. We especially loved watching the sunset while eating dinner up in the tower. The pool area was clean and well maintained and the temperature was refreshingly cool. The cats that roamed the property were very sweet. There was space to park our hire car too. We were so impressed with the beauty of this property- we would absolutely stay here again.

Fabulous

We had such a lovely stay here..a real get away from it all. It's a great base to explore the island by car or take the direct train to the centre of Palma. Loved the natural swimming pool with the house martins swooping above and the beautiful cacti garden. The main property has a tower with a 360 o view and a welcoming breeze. There's a pig farm nearby which can be heard. Can recommend restaurant 19 in the village for the decor and Asian inspired food followed by the jazz cat bar around the corner. Hope to return one day!

Lovely villa with beautiful surrounding gardens

The main house and the flat outside which we occupied were both spacious and comfortable. The cactus gardens were absolutely beautifully maintained and the e swimming pool is huge. The water was very cold however so we didn’t use it much. The games area was great for the kids. The owner was very kind and helpful overall. The farm is located just outside Santa Maria del Camí and we loved our visit to the winery Macia Batle which is walking distance. The town also has a lovely market on Sundays.it is close to the train tracks, but we were not bothered by any noise from the trains. We had a few issues during our stay, which were promptly sorted out. There is room for adding some basics like a large bottle of water upon arrival and cleaning spray for the kitchen, but overall we had a very comfortable stay.

Beautiful house, beautiful gardens.

This is a lovely place for a group of up to eight to stay. A splendid characterful casa with equally pleasing apartments. Set in superbly kept gardens with a great pool in the middle of Olive groves and Orange trees. Lots of space with wonderful views from the central tower, perfect for a sundowner G and T Great attention service from owners. Highly recommended.

Fabulous holiday

We had a wonderful stay. The house is a typical Majorcan property so was lovely to stay in somewhere authentic. We loved sitting in the tower for breakfast, evening drinks or just to enjoy the breeze during the day. The pool was fabulous and the owners regularly cleaned it. This is a lovely isolated property so very guiet although it is close to a train line and pig farm but this did not spoil the wonderful holiday we had.

Relaxing, lovingly maintained, fantastic gardens and pool.

The owner works tirelessly to keep this large property in fantastic condition. The grounds are a real credit to the work put in and it was massively appreciated by all 8 of us. Just outside Santa Maria and just a 10 min drive from the nearest big supermarket and outlet mall, yet you feel completely out in the countryside. The nearby railway doesn’t detract from what feels like splendid isolation. All in all a really great holiday, thank you very much.

A very comfortable stay in stunning surroundings

We really enjoyed our stay at Sa Torre. It's a short walk or very short drive out of town, with easy access to roads to get anywhere on the island. The surroundings are beautiful, with cacti, flowering trees and views to the nearby mountains out every window. We weren't really looking for luxury for this trip, but the tower in the main house and the swimming pool were exactly that. Bedrooms were comfortable and dark with those wonderful shutters, and the kitchen was well-equipped for our needs. Juan was an excellent host: welcoming, very relaxed, and very responsive to any questions we had during the week. Would definitely stay here again. Only one thing: beware the railway crossing just before the house if you have a low-clearance rental car - cross very obliquely, or take the long way around and approach from the north instead.

Wohnen in Grüner Oase

3 Wohneinheiten in einer sehr grünen gepflegten und schönen Außen Anlage mit viel Garten Kakteen und Zitronen Bäumen . Die Vermieter Familie ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit , ist jeden Tag auf dem Grundstück anwesend aber dezent im Hintergrund .Alle 20 / 30 min fährt der Zug auf der Bahnlinie neben dem großen Grundstück, diesen hört man zwar aber nicht als störend empfunden . Den Schweinemast Betrieb in der Nähe hört und riecht man allerdings schon , hören täglich aber der Gülle Geruch wenn der Wind in unsere Richtung steht ist wirklich unangenehm auch wenn es nicht jeden Tag vorkam . Es leben 4 Katzen auf dem Grundstück. Der Pool liegt auf einer oberen Terrasse entfernt von den Appartments , dieser ist sehr groß aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen und von viel Grün umgeben so das es vermehrt Blätter etc im Pool gibt . Der Pool wird unregelmäßig durch den Vermieter gereinigt . Liegen sind ausreichend vorhanden . Es gibt ein Haupt Apartment für 4 Personen , diese Wohnung liegt oben , ist voll klimatisiert in allen Räumen und ist von der Ausstattung her ok . Die beiden anderen Bungalows für jeweils 2 Personen liegen entfernter voneinander auf dem Grundstück, diese sind in der Küchen Ausstattung geringfügig ausgestattet was Koch Material etc. angeht . Alle Apartments haben eine Waschmaschine , nur die obere große Wohnung hat eine Spülmaschine . Es gibt einen großen Tisch draußen für 8 in einem schattigen Garten Platz und im Pool Haus .

Entspannende Tage auf abgelegenen Gelände

Von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise war der Urlaub toll! Durch den Kontakt mit der Agentur haben wir den Standort der Unterkunft per WhatsApp geschickt bekommen, deswegen war die Anfahrt kein Problem. Außer, dass kurz vor Ankunft ein abenteuerlicher Bahnübergang zu überqueren war (sehr holprig). Dann fuhren wir aber durch das Tor und waren schon vom Gelände sehr überwältigt. Wir waren 6 Personen und hatten deswegen das extra Appartement dabei. Die Zimmer sowie die Küche und Bäder waren top sauber! Wir sind auch sehr gut mit der Küchenausstattung klar gekommen. Ein Highlight war natürlich der Pool. Dieser war sauber und wurde auch während dem Aufenthalt gesäubert. Am Pool konnte man schön auf den gemütlichen liegen entspannen. Morgens konnte man ein paar Bahnen schwimmen, da der Pool recht tief ist. Es sind ein paar Tiere unterwegs, am präsentesten waren die Katzen (nicht am Pool). Aber es gibt auch Schildkröten und auch kleine Eidechsen (auch im Zimmer). Das ganze Gelände ist mit sehr viel Liebe gepflegt, was uns sehr gefallen hat. Auch der Eigentümer war sehr liebevoll und nett, man konnte immer fragen wenn man etwas hatte. Englisch konnte er zwar nicht, aber mit Füßen und Händen oder mit seinen Kindern konnte man gut kommunizieren. Ein zweites Highlight ist der Turm, von dem man eine tolle Aussicht hat und Abends, bei einem Glas Wein, atemberaubende Sonnenuntergänge genießen kann. Der Schweinegeruch war nur selten und nicht störend. Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt!

Alte Finca mit in die Jahre gekommenem Charm

Nette Vermieter die immer da sind. Riesiges gepflegtes Grundstück, schöner Pool. Die Bahngleise als Nachbarn sind gewöhnungsbedürftig, die Geräusche und Gerüche des angrenzenden Schweinstalles grenzwertig. Trotzdem gutes Preis - Leistung Verhältnis.

Definitely the best vacation rental I’ve had

This was an absolutely amazing property/rental. It was amazing to have separate spaces for each family. The gardens were amazing. It was a perfect place to have seclusion, yet you’re right by a winery and a town. We only used the pool a few times but it was great to have it after a hike or day at the beach. I would without a doubt recommend this place and hope to have the chance to come back.

Fantastic finca! We loved it!!

My gosh - but this was a great, great place! We enjoyed relaxing there when not visiting the nearby touristic sites - and in fact, we quickly discovered it was a a great refuge of tranquility away from the 'touristy' sites! The gardens were lovely - a dream for botany lovers! I would just walk around every day, and my kids would often join me, just admiring the extensive gardens and orchards - like a botanical garden! And, everything so very clean and neat! Who couldn't love the pool ? Coming from Canada, we found Mallorca hot, but this peaceful, beautiful oasis was perfect - pool, shade, and, the kids would say - "even ping pong and foosball"! The owners were so kind and welcoming, and we especially appreciated the information they were willing share with us, too. We ranged in ages from 10-83 (family with kids and grandparents) and all loved it! We would return in a minute! Just loved it!

Absolutely loved this place!

We were looking for space that would accommodate an extended family experience, and found it! The grounds were beautiful, gorgeous groves of orange trees, which the owners are kind enough to share with their guests, an area with a large table in order to enjoy meals outside, game room, and a large pool area. By far my favorite space was the beautiful cactus garden, with varieties of cacti I have never before seen. It was an excellent experience to share with young children, (particularly since they live in Iceland and have no exposure to cacti!). The living spaces are tastefully decorated, and the tower on top of the larger house provides incredible views of the surrounding farms, groves, and mountains. Watching the sunset while playing games with the family was a beautiful memory for me. We all spent a lot of time traveling around exploring many different beaches, and the location was perfect for this; close to main roads, and not too far from Palma or Alcudia. My only disappointment was that I did not have time to visit the Macia Batle winery located right next door. Thank you so much to the owners for making this space available to visitors, it was a pleasure to have met them, and experience this gem.

Tout était bien dans cette réservation: logement conforme à l'annonce, procédure d'arrivée très claire (les coordonnées GPS sont suffisantes pour se rendre sur le site), très grande piscine très agréable, environnement super sympa avec toutes ces plantes et cette ombre, les logements sont très bien équipés. Amazing stay!

We had an incredible long weekend here (a group of friends). The property is amazing with a fantastic pool, tower that looks over the area, friendly cats that say hello and orange orchard for freshly squeezed orange juice every morning! The area was fantastic for exploring the island and we enjoyed our afternoons by the pool. Would definitely recommend. We will be back!

Good times for digital nomads, cyclists or families

We enjoyed our home office and cycling vacation stay in Santa Maria to its best. The property and house has everything you can wish for, including a pool, a nice viewtower for sundowner tapas, lots of space, calm and peaceful quiet. Perfect for cyclists as well: equipped garage with bike rack and tools, nice pre or post ride cafés in the village nearby and in general just a strategically good starting spot for the most iconic day trips and rentals around. Lovely stay!

We had an amazing time at the villa. The property is beautiful and very extensive, and we had a lot of fun exploring. The views are incredible, and the host brought in fresh oranges for us from the orchard. The cats are friendly and stay outside (we had one person with allergies and never had a problem). It was perfect to rent a car and be able to access all different parts of the island. Would highly recommend!!
